Full job description

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Civil site Engineer + Auto CAD Draughtsman with experience in Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) Steel Structure projects to join our team. This role is ideal for a Civil Engineer with a strong foundation in construction techniques, project management, and technical skills to oversee on-site operations across multiple locations. The Site Engineer will ensure that projects are executed effectively, adhere to high-quality standards, and are completed within budget and on schedule.Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage PEB Steel Structure construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
Use AutoCAD for interpreting designs and modifying drawings as required.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery.
Implement Quality Control and Assurance (QC/QA) measures to maintain construction standards.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations on-site.
Regularly report on project progress, budget status, and potential issues to stakeholders.

Key Skills1. Technical Skills

AutoCAD: Proficiency in design software for creating and interpreting engineering plans.
Project Management Software: Knowledge of tools like MS Project or Primavera for scheduling and tracking project progress.
Surveying and Levelling: Understanding of topographical data and the use of surveying tools for site accuracy.
Construction Techniques and Materials: Familiarity with construction methods, standards, and materials for structural projects.
Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA): Ensuring adherence to project standards and quality levels.
Structural Analysis: Basic understanding of load-bearing and stability principles to assess structural integrity.
Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Standards: Familiarity with safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance.

2. Project Management Skills

Planning and Scheduling: Ability to create detailed plans and schedules for resource optimization and project timelines.
Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Skills in estimating costs, preparing budgets, and controlling expenses.
Resource Management: Efficient allocation of labor, materials, and equipment for productivity.
Problem Solving: Quick identification and resolution of project issues.
Risk Management: Ability to anticipate and mitigate risks affecting timelines and quality.

3. Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Effective Communication: Clear and concise communication with team members, contractors, and clients.
Team Collaboration: Work with architects, designers, and stakeholders to maintain seamless coordination.
Negotiation: Handling negotiations with suppliers and contractors to meet quality and budget goals.
Client Interaction: Providing updates and addressing any concerns effectively.

4. Analytical and Critical Thinking

Attention to Detail: Reviewing specifications and blueprints to prevent costly errors.
Data Interpretation: Analyzing technical reports, survey data, and material specifications for informed decision-making.
Decision Making: Making sound decisions under pressure to avoid delays and maintain project quality.

5. Adaptability and Time Management

Flexibility: Adapting to changing project demands, timelines, and resources.
Prioritization: Managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively to meet project deadlines.
