We are a rapidly growing manufacturing company at the forefront of the Circular Economy, specializing in plastic recycling, recycled polymer granules. Our mission is to transform waste into valuable resources through innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence. , we are looking for a dynamic Chief Financial Officer to lead our finance function and support our next phase of growth.
Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company's finance, investor relations, corporate governance, and business expansion initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing finance, fundraising, financial strategy, and working closely with the Board, investors, and leadership team.
Candidates with prior experience in recycling, waste management, process manufacturing, chemicals, petrochemicals, plastics, metals, cement, paper, energy, or other process industries will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with long-term business objectives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, MIS, and performance reporting.
- Drive profitability, cost optimization, and working capital improvements.
- Oversee treasury, banking relationships, fund raising, and cash flow management.
- Lead financial due diligence for acquisitions, strategic investments, and fundraising transactions.
- Coordinate with Big Four audit firms and external advisors during statutory audits, due diligence, tax reviews, and financial transactions.
- Manage investor relations with Private Equity (PE), Venture Capital (VC), strategic investors, banks, and financial institutions.
- Prepare Board presentations, financial reports, and strategic recommendations for the Board of Directors.
- Support business expansion, greenfield/brownfield projects, and international growth initiatives.
- Lead financial modelling, project evaluations, and investment analysis.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, IND-AS, and all statutory regulations.
- Strengthen internal controls, risk management, governance, and finance processes.
- Drive ERP optimization, finance automation, and business intelligence reporting.
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
- MBA (Finance), CFA, or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 15+ years of progressive finance experience with at least 8 years in a senior finance leadership role.
- Proven experience in manufacturing or process industries is mandatory.
- Experience in recycling, circular economy, sustainability, waste management, plastics, chemicals, petrochemicals, metals, or similar sectors is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience managing Investor Relations, fundraising, and interactions with Private Equity (PE), Venture Capital (VC), or institutional investors.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating Big Four audit firms during statutory audits, due diligence, M&A, or fundraising exercises.
- Strong exposure to Board reporting, corporate governance, and strategic business planning.
- Experience leading financial due diligence, mergers & acquisitions, business expansion, or large capital projects will be an advantage.
