Full job description

The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating revenue, expanding the customer base, and fostering long-term business relationships. Business Development Manager involves identifying potential clients, creating and implementing growth strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve sales and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities.
Analyze market data to develop targeted strategies for business growth.
Identify and reach out to potential clients through various channels, such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and referrals.
Qualify leads and prioritize them based on potential value to the company.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create compelling sales materials and campaigns.
Negotiate terms, contracts, and pricing with clients to secure new business.
Close deals and ensure a smooth transition to the delivery or account management teams.
Create and manage a business development plan that outlines short-term and long-term goals.
Monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed to meet objectives.
Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and finance, to align business development efforts with the overall company strategy.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.
Use data and insights to make informed decisions and refine strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
Strong understanding of the industry and market dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue opportunities.
Results-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant business tools.
Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
