Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or PHP (Laravel/CodeIgniter).
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs into React applications.
- Create secure and efficient RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Manage and query databases (SQL/NoSQL) effectively.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the security and protection of data through best practices.
- Handle user authentication, session management, and data validation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance issues.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and backend trends.

Requirements and skills :

- Proficiency in at least one backend language: Node.js, Python, or PHP.
- Experience with relevant frameworks: Express.js, Django/Flask, or Laravel/CodeIgniter.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, MVC architecture, and server-side logic.
- Database experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Git and best practices in version control.
- Understanding of authentication protocols (JWT, OAuth2).
- Knowledge of deployment environments (AWS, Heroku, or similar).
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker) is a plus.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
