Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic and target-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to support our business development team by generating qualified leads, engaging with prospective clients, and creating new business opportunities. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, confidence in outbound calling, and a passion for sales. This role involves prospect research, lead qualification, cold calling, appointment setting, and supporting the sales team in achieving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers and introduce the company's products and services.
Identify potential clients through databases, online research, LinkedIn, referrals, and lead lists.
Understand customer requirements and qualify prospects based on business needs.
Generate qualified leads and schedule meetings for the sales team.
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly calling and lead generation targets.

Customer Engagement

Build professional relationships with prospects through effective communication.
Understand customer pain points and present relevant business solutions.
Handle objections confidently and provide accurate information about company offerings.
Follow up with prospects to nurture leads and move opportunities through the sales pipeline.

CRM & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, lead status, and follow-up activities in the CRM.
Update customer information and sales activities regularly.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports.
Track lead generation performance and conversion metrics.

Sales Support

Work closely with the Team Lead and Business Development team.
Share qualified leads and detailed prospect information with the sales team.
Support sales campaigns, promotional activities, and business development initiatives.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.

International Business Development (APAC, ANZ, EMEA, LATAM, MEA & AMER)

Handle international outbound calls professionally across multiple time zones.
Engage with overseas clients and key decision-makers.
Understand international business communication standards and cultural differences.
Manage objections effectively and build strong client relationships.
Maintain professionalism while interacting with senior stakeholders and global prospects.

Experience RequiredDomestic Business Development

1–3 years of experience in Telecalling, Inside Sales, Lead Generation, or Business Development.
Experience in B2B calling will be preferred.

International Business Development

1–4 years of experience in International Cold Calling, Inside Sales, Appointment Setting, or Business Development.
Experience working with US, UK, or Canada-based clients is highly preferred.

Required Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Confidence in making outbound and cold calls.
Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
Good listening, questioning, and problem-solving abilities.
Positive attitude towards handling rejection and achieving targets.
Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a sales team.

Preferred Skills

Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email outreach, and lead generation tools.
Understanding of B2B sales processes and sales funnels.
Experience working with international markets.
Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or similar.
Familiarity with sales automation and prospecting tools.
