Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with deep expertise in the Zoho ecosystem to manage accounting operations while optimizing and integrating Zoho applications across the organization. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with Zoho Finance applications, and the ability to configure workflows, automate processes, and integrate multiple Zoho modules to improve operational efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory and regulatory requirements.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and other stakeholders during audits and statutory filings.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.

Zoho Administration & Integration

Configure, manage, and maintain Zoho Finance applications, including:
Zoho Books
Zoho Inventory
Zoho Expense
Zoho Payroll
Zoho Billing (if applicable)
Zoho Analytics
Integrate Zoho Finance applications with:
Zoho CRM
Zoho Flow
Zoho Creator (preferred)
Third-party applications, payment gateways, banking platforms, ERP systems, and e-commerce platforms as required.
Design and implement automated workflows using Zoho Flow and Deluge scripting (preferred).
Customize forms, reports, dashboards, approval workflows, user roles, and permissions.
Monitor integrations to ensure seamless data flow and troubleshoot issues proactively.

Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to automate finance and operational processes.
Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Recommend system enhancements and process improvements.
Provide user training and support for Zoho applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system efficiency and reporting capabilities.

Required SkillsAccounting

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation requirements.
Experience in budgeting, reconciliations, and compliance.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Zoho Expertise

Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and other Zoho Finance applications.
Strong knowledge of Zoho Flow for workflow automation.
Experience integrating multiple Zoho applications.
Ability to configure custom workflows, reports, dashboards, and automation.
Knowledge of Deluge scripting is an added advantage.
Experience with APIs and third-party integrations is desirable.

Technical Skills

Business process automation.
ERP and financial system administration.
Workflow design and optimization.
Report and dashboard creation.
Basic understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data integration concepts.
SQL knowledge is an advantage.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CA Inter, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Zoho certifications are highly desirable.

Experience

3–7 years of accounting experience.
Proven hands-on experience managing Zoho Finance applications.
Experience integrating multiple Zoho modules and automating business processes.
Experience supporting finance teams through system optimization and process improvements.
