Full job description

Job Summary:

Role Summary: Manage all quality assurance and quality control activities in the
manufacturing of API compliant industrial pumps (e.g. API 610). This role
ensures that all processes components and finished products meet internal
and external specifications, regulatory standards, and customer
requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of
pump manufacturing API standards and quality management systems.

Main Responsibilities /
Tasks:

1. Responsible for Maintaining Quality Management System.
2. Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for
product and process related concerns
3. Perform Internal Quality Audits as per ISO 9001 requirements
4. Follow the controls established for final inspection and dispatch
5. Review quality reports and drive actions to improve quality in
consultation with Quality Head.
6. Coordination and driver of continuous improvement program
7. Incoming Part measurement & Material Inspection, in process

inspection and vendor end inspection.
8. Vendor audit and work with vendor for detailing them on quality
requirement and finalizing the quality assurance plan
9. Improve and implement changes within the systems resulting from
audit for continual improvement.
10. Periodic calibration of all monitoring and measuring equipments
& documentation of records
11. Impart training down the line as and when required
12. Implement 5S system
13. Focus on inspection process development and product
improvement
14. Ensure root cause investigation and corrective actions for all NCRs
and Customer complaints
15. Implement statistical tools to analyze nonconformities and
customer complaints
16. To design or specify inspection and testing mechanisms and
equipment’s
17. Authorized for acceptance of the material based on inspection &
testing findings
18. Maintain records of all inspection & test results as per company
procedure

Required Qualifications
& Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering / Production
Engineering
Experience: 7+ years of working experience in Pump / Contract Engineering –
Pumps / Project Consulting firms / Project Engineering firms / EPC firms.
Hands-on knowledge of API standards (especially API 610), ISO Standards,
NDT and material inspection

Build a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings GDMT and
inspection techniques next slide familiarity with ERP systems
Certification in Six Sigma, lead auditor ISO API preferred

Languages Fluent English in listening, speaking, reading, and writing
Location Savli – GIDC Manjusar Plant, Vadodara
