SOCIAL MEDIA & CREATIVE MANAGER

Location: In-house
Industry: Jewellery / Luxury Retail
Employment: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a highly creative, proactive and social-media-obsessed Social Media & Creative Manager who can take ownership of our brand’s digital presence.

We are not looking for someone who simply posts content.

We are looking for someone who thinks content.

Someone who constantly observes trends, generates fresh ideas, develops creative campaigns, conceptualises shoots and finds new ways of presenting jewellery and the brand on social media.

The person will work closely with the founders/management and the internal creative team to build a distinctive, engaging and recognisable social media presence.

Key ResponsibilitiesCreative Strategy & Ideation

Develop fresh and unconventional content ideas for Instagram and other social platforms.
Create monthly and weekly content strategies.
Constantly research trends, formats, creators, brands and cultural moments.
Translate trends into original ideas relevant to our jewellery brand.
Develop recurring content properties and social media series.
Generate concepts for Reels, Stories, campaigns, product launches and festive communication.
Continuously experiment with new formats rather than repeating existing content.

Shoot Conceptualisation & Production

Conceptualise jewellery shoots, campaign shoots and social-first content shoots.
Create moodboards, references and shot lists.
Decide the visual direction, storytelling and content requirements before shoots.
Coordinate with photographers, videographers, models, stylists and internal teams when required.
Help direct short-form content and ensure enough usable content is captured from every shoot.
Turn one shoot into multiple pieces of social content.

Reels & Short-Form Content

Develop hooks, concepts and scripts for Reels.
Understand short-form storytelling, retention and social-media-first editing.
Work closely with content creators and editors to produce engaging videos.
Identify opportunities for trend-based, educational, aspirational, humorous and personality-led content.

Instagram Stories

Develop a dedicated daily Story strategy.
Create interactive formats using polls, questions, quizzes, product selections, BTS and customer conversations.
Introduce recurring Story properties that audiences begin to recognise.
Ensure Stories feel spontaneous and engaging while remaining aligned with the brand.

Graphic & Visual Direction

Conceptualise campaign graphics, Reel covers, Story designs, carousels and launch creatives.
Maintain visual consistency across the page.
Work closely with the graphic designer/editor.
Basic hands-on graphic design capability is strongly preferred.

Editing

The candidate should understand video editing and preferably be able to independently create/edit social content when required.

Working knowledge of tools such as:

Adobe Premiere Pro
After Effects
Photoshop
Illustrator
Canva
CapCut or equivalent social editing tools

is preferred.

Content Calendar & Execution

Maintain weekly and monthly social media calendars.
Coordinate shoots, editing, designing, approvals and publishing.
Ensure campaigns are planned in advance rather than created at the last minute.
Maintain a content bank for upcoming posts and Stories.

Brand Building

Think beyond individual posts.

The candidate should constantly ask:

How can we make the brand more recognisable?

What can we do that other jewellery pages aren’t doing?

What format can become uniquely ours?

How can we turn products, people, customers and everyday store activity into interesting content?

Analytics & Optimisation

Review social performance every week.
Analyse Reels, Stories, saves, shares, engagement, watch time and other relevant metrics.
Identify patterns behind high-performing and low-performing content.
Recommend what the brand should repeat, stop or experiment with next.
Present actionable insights rather than simply reporting numbers.

Is comfortable experimenting.
Has excellent attention to detail.
Can manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience with jewellery, fashion, beauty, luxury, lifestyle or D2C brands will be strongly preferred.

Portfolio Requirement

Applicants must submit:

Instagram/social accounts previously managed
5–10 best Reels
Graphic design samples
Campaign/shoot concepts
Examples of content ideation
Before/after examples showing how their work improved a page

Candidates without a portfolio demonstrating creative thinking may not be considered.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
