Askknatural is a growing health and wellness company operating across multiple business verticals, including personalized nutrition and fitness services, consumer wellness products, and nutritional supplements.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant who can independently manage day-to-day accounting activities across our business verticals and work closely with management and the external CA team to ensure accurate books, timely reconciliations, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate and complete books of accounts for multiple business verticals.
- Record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, and other accounting transactions.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, customer ledgers, vendor ledgers, and bank accounts.
- Ensure accounting entries are accurate, complete, and up to date.
2. GST & TDS
- Prepare data and supporting documents for GST and TDS compliance.
- Assist with GST return preparation and filing in coordination with the CA.
- Perform GST and GSTR-2B / Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliations.
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payment tracking, and return-related activities.
- Coordinate with the external CA for statutory compliance and queries.
3. MIS & Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and MIS reports.
- Provide accurate financial data and reports to management.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
- Track and report key financial information across different business verticals.
4. Sales & Receivables
- Record sales transactions and maintain proper invoice records.
- Monitor customer receivables and outstanding payments.
- Reconcile collections received through payment gateways and e-commerce platforms, including:
- Razorpay
- Stripe
- Shopify
- Other applicable payment channels
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation differences.
5. Purchases & Vendor Management
- Record purchase invoices and maintain vendor accounts.
- Verify purchase and expense documentation.
- Track vendor outstanding payments and maintain payment schedules.
- Reconcile vendor ledgers and resolve discrepancies.
6. Inventory Accounting
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
- Assist with inventory valuation and reconciliation.
- Reconcile physical/digital stock records with accounting and business records.
- Coordinate with relevant teams regarding stock discrepancies.
7. Payroll & Salary Accounting
- Assist with monthly payroll processing and salary-related accounting.
- Maintain salary records and payroll reconciliations.
- Assist with applicable TDS, PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax calculations and compliance, wherever applicable.
- Coordinate with HR and management to ensure accurate payroll inputs and records.
8. Documentation, Audit & Compliance
- Maintain organized financial records, invoices, bills, payment proofs, and supporting documents.
- Ensure accounting records are complete and audit-ready.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required information and documents.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Good working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Good command of MS Excel.
- Ability to independently manage accounting activities for multiple business verticals.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with management, vendors, internal teams, and external CA.
Software & Technical Skills
Mandatory:
Preferred:
- Zoho Books
- Experience with e-commerce/payment platforms such as Shopify, Razorpay, and Stripe
Excel skills expected: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, IF, basic data analysis and reconciliation.
Qualification & Experience
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience is mandatory.
- Candidates with experience in e-commerce, D2C, FMCG, wellness, supplements, or product-based businesses will be preferred.
- Candidates who have independently handled accounting, GST/TDS, reconciliations, and monthly reporting are encouraged to apply.
