Job Description:

The Sales Staff is responsible for providing excellent customer service, achieving daily sales targets, maintaining product quality, handling billing, and ensuring the store is clean, organized, and welcoming. They play a key role in creating a memorable customer experience while representing the company's values and maintaining operational standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service

Welcome every customer with a smile and a positive attitude.
Assist customers in selecting cakes, pastries, desserts, and other products.
Explain product ingredients, flavors, pricing, and offers.
Handle customer complaints politely and escalate issues when necessary.
Build long-term customer relationships through excellent service.

Sales

Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
Promote add-on products and premium items.
Inform customers about ongoing promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs.
Encourage advance cake bookings and customized orders.

Billing & Cash Handling

Operate the billing/POS system accurately.
Accept cash, UPI, card, and other payment methods.
Maintain accurate cash records and submit daily collections.
Ensure zero billing errors.

Store Operations

Arrange products neatly in display counters.
Monitor product freshness and expiry.
Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) for product rotation.
Refill displays throughout the day.
Report low stock to the Store Incharge.

Hygiene & Cleanliness

Keep display counters, shelves, and customer areas clean.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Wear the prescribed uniform and maintain personal grooming.
Ensure proper handling and packing of food products.

Order Management

Take customer orders accurately.
Coordinate with the kitchen for customized cake orders.
Ensure timely packing and delivery coordination.
Verify order details before handing them to customers or delivery partners.

Inventory Support

Assist in daily stock counting.
Report damaged, expired, or missing products immediately.
Help reduce product wastage.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain billing records and daily sales reports.
Record customer feedback.
Report operational issues to the Store Incharge.

Required Skills

Good communication skills.
Pleasant personality and customer-focused attitude.
Basic computer and POS knowledge.
Ability to upsell products.
Teamwork and time management.
Honest, responsible, and punctual.

Qualifications

Minimum Higher Secondary (Plus Two) or equivalent.
Previous retail, bakery, café, or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Working Hours

9-hour shift or as per company policy, including weekends and holidays.
Weekly off as per company schedule.

Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Daily sales achievement.
Customer satisfaction.
Billing accuracy.
Upselling performance.
Attendance and punctuality.
Store cleanliness and hygiene.
Product wastage control.
Customer feedback ratings.

Code of Conduct

Be courteous and respectful to customers and colleagues.
Maintain confidentiality of company information.
Do not consume or distribute products without authorization.
Follow company policies, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
Report any misconduct, theft, or operational issues immediately.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
