Clove Technologies is looking for a motivated IT Support Engineer / Junior DevOps Engineer to join our Information Technology team in Visakhapatnam.
This role is ideal for professionals with 0–1 years of experience who have a strong foundation in IT support, desktop troubleshooting, Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, system administration, and basic DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities
IT Support & Infrastructure
● Provide technical support for hardware, software, desktop, and network-related issues.
● Troubleshoot Windows OS, laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals.
● Support Microsoft 365 applications and services.
● Assist with Active Directory user accounts, permissions, password resets, and access management.
● Handle employee onboarding, workstation setup, software installation, and user access.
● Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and DHCP issues.
● Manage IT assets, inventory, and helpdesk tickets.
● Perform OS updates, patch management, antivirus, and endpoint security activities.
● Provide remote and on-site technical support.
● Document technical issues, solutions, and IT procedures.
DevOps & System Administration
● Assist in managing and maintaining Linux and Windows servers.
● Support basic CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
● Assist with application deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
● Work with Git/GitHub/GitLab for source-code and version control.
● Gain hands-on exposure to Docker and containerized applications.
● Assist with basic cloud infrastructure and services such as AWS / Azure.
● Monitor server, application, and infrastructure health.
● Assist in troubleshooting deployment, server, and application-related issues.
● Support automation of repetitive IT and deployment tasks using basic scripting.
● Assist with backup, recovery, system monitoring, and infrastructure maintenance.
● Follow security and access-control best practices across IT infrastructure.
Required Skills
● Windows OS and desktop troubleshooting.
● Basic Linux administration.
● Basic networking concepts: LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP.
● Microsoft 365 and Active Directory fundamentals.
● Computer hardware and peripheral troubleshooting.
● Basic knowledge of Git and version control.
● Understanding of CI/CD concepts.
● Basic knowledge of Docker and containers.
● Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
● Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Bash, or Python is an advantage.
● Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
● Good communication and user-support skills.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.
● 0–1 year of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, System Administration, DevOps, or a related role.
● Freshers with strong technical fundamentals, relevant projects, internships, or certifications may also be considered.
