Position: Housekeeping cum KST Supervisor
Department: Housekeeping / KST
Location: The Marque Club, Hyderabad
Reports To: Housekeeping Manager / Operations Manager

Job Purpose

To supervise and coordinate the housekeeping and KST teams to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation and service across The Marque Club. The role will ensure effective deployment of staff, proper execution of daily cleaning activities, adherence to SOPs and timely resolution of operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities1. Housekeeping Operations

Supervise daily housekeeping activities across club areas, including guest/member areas, public areas, washrooms, back-of-house areas and other assigned spaces.
Ensure all areas are maintained as per the club's cleanliness, hygiene and presentation standards.
Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas and ensure deficiencies are corrected immediately.
Allocate duties and prepare daily deployment plans based on operational requirements.
Monitor staff attendance, grooming, punctuality and discipline.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of housekeeping equipment, chemicals and cleaning materials.
Monitor housekeeping supplies and inform the concerned manager regarding replenishment requirements.
Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Coordinate with other departments for cleaning requirements during events, functions and special activities.

2. KST Operations

Supervise KST staff and ensure proper deployment as per operational requirements.
Ensure timely collection, transportation, handling and delivery of linen, uniforms and other assigned materials.
Coordinate with relevant departments for timely movement and availability of linen and uniforms.
Maintain proper control and accountability of linen and other KST-related items.
Monitor the condition of linen, uniforms and other items and report damaged or missing items.
Ensure proper segregation, handling and storage of soiled and clean linen.
Maintain required records and registers related to KST operations.

3. Team Supervision

Brief the team before shifts and communicate daily priorities and special requirements.
Monitor productivity and ensure adequate manpower deployment throughout the shift.
Train and coach team members on cleaning procedures, hygiene, safety and service standards.
Ensure staff follow grooming, uniform and personal hygiene standards.
Address minor operational issues and escalate serious concerns to the reporting manager.
Support performance monitoring and provide feedback on staff performance.

4. Hygiene & Safety

Ensure compliance with housekeeping, hygiene and workplace safety standards.
Ensure appropriate PPE is used while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Report accidents, hazards, damages or safety concerns immediately.
Ensure safe handling and storage of chemicals and cleaning equipment.
Maintain high hygiene standards in washrooms, public areas and other high-traffic locations.

5. Club & Member Service

Maintain a professional and service-oriented approach while interacting with members and guests.
Respond promptly to housekeeping-related requests and complaints.
Coordinate with the concerned departments to resolve member/guest requirements efficiently.
Ensure special cleaning requirements for VIP visits, events and club functions are completed on time.

6. Administration & Reporting

Maintain daily housekeeping and KST checklists and records.
Monitor attendance, deployment and shift-wise manpower requirements.
Maintain records of cleaning materials, linen movement, damages and shortages.
Submit daily/weekly operational updates to the reporting manager as required.
Ensure proper handover between shifts.
Participate in stock checks and periodic inventories of housekeeping and KST materials.

Candidate Profile

Education: Diploma / Graduate in Hotel Management, Hospitality or a related field preferred.

Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in housekeeping, KST/linen operations or a supervisory role in a premium hotel, club, resort or hospitality environment.

Preferred Skills

Good knowledge of housekeeping operations and cleaning procedures.
Understanding of linen/KST operations and inventory control.
Good team-handling and manpower deployment skills.
Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer knowledge and ability to maintain operational records.
Ability to work in shifts, weekends and holidays.
Strong discipline, integrity and ownership of responsibilities.
Professional grooming and a service-oriented attitude.
