JOB DESCRIPTION

Designation: Graphic Designer cum DTP Executive
Department: Creative / Design
Location: Hyderabad
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer cum DTP Executive who can conceptualize, design, format, and execute high-quality visual communication materials for both digital and print media.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of graphic designing, DTP, typography, layouts, image editing, and print production, along with the ability to manage multiple design assignments within deadlines.

Key ResponsibilitiesGraphic Designing

Design creative and visually appealing graphics for digital and print communication.
Create posters, banners, brochures, flyers, certificates, invitations, standees, and other promotional materials.
Develop creatives for social media, websites, digital campaigns, events, and internal communication.
Create presentations, newsletters, infographics, and other corporate/school communication materials.
Adapt designs into different sizes and formats as required.
Maintain consistency in colours, fonts, layouts, logos, and overall brand identity.

DTP & Print Designing

Handle typesetting, page layout, formatting, and artwork preparation.
Design and format brochures, books, magazines, newsletters, handbooks, calendars, worksheets, and other publications.
Prepare artwork according to printing specifications, including bleed, margins, crop marks, image resolution, and colour settings.
Create high-quality print-ready files in PDF and other required formats.
Proofread designs for spelling, alignment, formatting, and visual accuracy before final production.
Coordinate with printing vendors for proofs, corrections, and final output.

Image Editing & Creative Support

Perform image editing, retouching, resizing, cropping, background removal, and basic photo manipulation.
Select appropriate images, illustrations, icons, and design elements for creative requirements.
Develop new templates and creative concepts based on briefs.
Support basic video/motion graphic requirements wherever required.

Coordination

Understand design briefs and convert concepts into effective visual communication.
Coordinate with internal teams to understand their creative requirements.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise work according to deadlines.
Incorporate feedback and make revisions within the required timelines.
Maintain organised folders, source files, templates, and final artwork.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, colour theory, composition, and layout.
Proficiency in:
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe InDesign
CorelDRAW
Good working knowledge of MS PowerPoint and MS Office.
Strong DTP and print-production knowledge.
Knowledge of preparing files for offset and digital printing.
Good understanding of digital and social media design requirements.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Good communication and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree / Diploma / Certification in Graphic Designing, DTP, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or a related field.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in Graphic Designing and DTP.
Experience in an advertising agency, publishing house, educational institution, corporate organisation, or similar environment will be preferred.
Freshers with a strong portfolio and excellent designing skills may also be considered.
