Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented PMO Trainee to support the Project Management Office in planning, tracking, and coordinating projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered within defined timelines and processes.

Experience: Freshers to 1 year
Location: Old pallavaram ( Chennai)

Key Responsibilities

Assist Project Managers in planning, tracking, and monitoring project activities.
Maintain project plans, trackers, schedules, and status reports.
Coordinate with internal teams to collect project updates and ensure timely follow-ups.
Track project milestones, deliverables, timelines, and dependencies.
Prepare weekly/monthly project status reports and management dashboards.
Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, action items, and project records.
Schedule project meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.
Follow up on pending tasks and ensure action items are closed on time.
Identify and escalate project delays, risks, and dependencies to the Project Manager.
Support project governance and ensure adherence to defined processes.
Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and MIS for management review.
Coordinate with teams such as Development, QA, Implementation, Customer Success, and Support.
Perform other PMO-related activities as assigned.

Required Skills

Strong organizational and coordination skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Basic understanding of project management concepts.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to learn project management tools and processes.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Freshers / candidates with 0–1 year of experience are welcome.
Candidates with internships or academic project-management experience will be preferred.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
