About the Opportunity

Expert Resourcing Pvt. Ltd. is recruiting for its client, an established enterprise IT training and solutions company, for the position of Solution Sales Specialist.

Role Overview

We are looking for a confident, commercially driven Solution Sales Specialist who can engage senior business and technology leaders, understand complex IT requirements and convert them into long-term enterprise relationships. This role is suited to someone who enjoys consultative selling, can navigate long decision cycles and takes full ownership of revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

Own the complete B2B and enterprise IT sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification through solution development, negotiation and closure.

Build and manage a healthy pipeline of enterprise accounts and new business opportunities.

Sell Microsoft products, software licences and related enterprise IT solutions.

Engage CXOs, CIOs, IT heads, procurement leaders and other decision-makers through credible business conversations.

Understand customer priorities, technical requirements, budgets and buying processes.

Work with technical, pre-sales and delivery teams to develop relevant solutions, proposals and commercial offers.

Prepare and respond to RFPs, RFQs, presentations, quotations and account plans.

Navigate multi-stakeholder and long-duration sales cycles while maintaining momentum and clear next steps.

Negotiate commercial terms and close profitable, sustainable business.

Develop existing accounts through renewals, cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

Maintain accurate opportunity, activity and forecast information in the CRM.

Provide regular pipeline, revenue and conversion reports to management.

Track competitor activity, market developments and customer buying trends.

Represent the organisation professionally in client meetings, presentations and industry events.

Required Experience and Skills

5–8 years of successful B2B or enterprise IT solution-sales experience.

Demonstrated experience selling Microsoft products and software licences.

Proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue and new-business targets.

Strong understanding of enterprise buying processes and complex sales cycles.

Ability to communicate business value clearly to senior stakeholders.

Strong prospecting, account-development, presentation and negotiation skills.

Experience preparing commercial proposals and coordinating with technical or pre-sales teams.

Strong pipeline management, forecasting and CRM discipline.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Self-driven, accountable and comfortable owning a number from start to finish.

Willingness to work in person from Gurugram and travel for client meetings when required.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.

Relevant Microsoft sales, cloud or licensing knowledge.

Experience working with system integrators, managed service providers, IT training companies or Microsoft partners.

Existing relationships with enterprise IT and procurement decision-makers would be an advantage.
