We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Director in Institutional Securities Group Product Operations (ISGPO) partners closely with Sales & Trading and our Clients to process daily activities, develop and implement new products and services, as well as drive efficiency and reduce risk in our processes.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Team Specialist position at Director level within the Product Support & Services which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What you'll do in the role:
Serve as a subject matter expert within functional area, working with Team Manager to manage processes, risks and/or projects, proposing and implementing improvements/changes.
Act as key problem solver for area or expertise, applying detailed knowledge to address unique or novel situations, recognize risks and draw out key issues
Coordinate work, train and develop other team members where required, including task allocation, and project contribution
Timely and accurate generation of trade confirmations for FID products in accordance with internal bookings, ISDA and industry standards.
Provide documentation support to Institutional Sales and Trading, and Bank Resource Management on ad hoc deals and projects.
Provide SME support for the ongoing standardization and confirmation automation initiatives.
Research and resolve confirmation discrepancies through proactive communication with internal partners (Legal, Sales, Trading, Compliance) and external counterparties.
Identify risk issues, escalate where appropriate and actively assist in resolving them.
Adopt and maintain stringent process controls to mitigate firm and client risk.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of internal confirmation records versus electronic platforms.

Regular follow ups with clients and using the escalation matrix wherever required .
Develop relationships with clients (i.e., Counterparties, Traders, Origination, Legal, Credit, IT and Controllers) to understand the priorities of stakeholders to ensure that business needs are met, protect client confidentiality and address ad-hoc requests in a timely fashion.
What you'll bring to the role:
At least 7 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
Ability to lead by example, work with drive and determination, and put forward challenging views to senior levels.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of functional area and operational/compliance policies and procedures of their team.
Ability to operate independently across most day-to-day responsibilities.
Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values and acting as a role model.
Strong working knowledge of ISDA definitions is essential.
Understanding of derivative products, settlement processes and Drafting systems (thunderhead) is preferable.
Experience in negotiating with clients to resolve language discrepancies.
Strong ability to maintain risk and control while balancing client service.
Ability to re-engineering existing procedures and ability to do Root cause analysis of reoccurring problems.
