Clear Intentions IT Solutions is a Mumbai-based IT and managed-services firm, established in 2005. We design, build and run IT infrastructure, networking, cloud and cybersecurity for clients in the banking and financial-services sector, and we are building our own in-house Security Operations Centre(SOC).
We are a small, close-knit team that handles serious infrastructure for demanding clients which means every engineer here owns real problems end to end and sees the impact of their work.

THE ROLE
===========================================================
We are looking for a Network & Systems Engineer to own the network-and- systems layer across our internal environment and our client work.
You will design and troubleshoot networks, configure and manage firewalls, administer
Microsoft 365, and run Windows and Linux servers. You will also support our SOC program with network visibility, segmentation and log onboarding.
This is a hands-on, broad infrastructure role in a growing MSP. If you like variety, ownership and learning across the stack rather than doing one narrow thing, you will fit well here.
This is an immediate requirement we are especially keen to hear from candidates who can join quickly or are already serving notice.
Location & work : JP Road,Andheri West, Mumbai 400058. Primarily office-based and remote (a mix of online and onsite work), with occasional short visits to client offices
within the city. - This is not a field or outstation role.
Experience: min 3+ years in IT infrastructure / network engineering.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
===========================================================
- Configure, maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, routing and switching for internal and client networks.
- Design and implement VLAN segmentation; keep IP schemes and network documentation current.
- Configure and manage firewalls — policies, NAT, site-to-site and remote-access VPN, web/content filtering, firmware on Fortinet. FortiGate and Sophos.
- Administer Microsoft 365 tenants: identity and licensing, Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams, endpoint/Intune policy, MFA and conditional access, email security (SPF/DKIM/DMARC).
- Administer Windows Server: Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, file services, virtualisation, patching and backup.
- Administer Linux servers (Ubuntu / RHEL family): services, packages, shell scripting, hardening.
- Handle escalations from the help desk, own incidents to resolution, and keep tickets and runbooks up to date.
- Support the in-house SOC: onboard log sources, assist agent deployment and provide network-monitoring and segmentation input.
- Take part in planned maintenance take ownership and handle team members to guide them remotely.

WHAT YOU NEED (MUST-HAVE)
==========================================================
Strong, hands-on depth in:
- Min 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or network engineering.
- Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, switching, DNS,
DHCP, VPN, and a structured approach to troubleshooting.
- Firewall administration on Fortinet FortiGate or Sophos (experience with both is a plus). Strong experience on another enterprise firewall is considered if you are ready to cross-train onto Fortinet/Sophos.
- Designing and implementing VLAN segmentation in a live network. Solid working knowledge of (deeper skill in any of these is a plus):
- Microsoft 365 tenant administration (not only end-user support).
- Windows Server administration: AD, GPO, DNS/DHCP, file services.
- Linux server administration: confident on the command line, service management, basic scripting.
Also:
- Good written and spoken English, and Hindi or Marathi for client interaction.
- Should be able to work with teams and also freshers to help and support them.
- Based in Mumbai (or relocating before joining); able to attend the Andheri West office and occasional short client visits, and available for occasional after-hours maintenance windows.
- Able to join immediately or at short notice.

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience in an MSP, systems integrator or multi-client environment.
- Exposure to BFSI environments and their audit/compliance expectations
(ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, RBI guidelines).
- SOC / SIEM exposure (Wazuh, ELK, EDR, log management).
- Virtualisation depth (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox) and backup/DR tools (Veeam, Acronis).
- Scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Ansible).
- Cloud basics beyond M365 (Azure, AWS).
- Certifications are preferred but not required — Fortinet NSE, Sophos,
CCNA, Microsoft MS-102 / AZ-104, RHCSA, CompTIA Network+/Security+.
Self-taught candidates with strong hands-on skills are welcome;
we assess skill at interview, not certificates.
