Receptionist / Front Desk Executive – Clinic

We are looking for a dedicated, organized, and compassionate Receptionist to join our clinic. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day clinic operations. Excellent communication skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Register patients and maintain accurate patient records.
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide accurate information regarding clinic services, timings, and appointments.
Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient consultation and minimal waiting time.
Collect consultation fees and maintain accurate payment records.
Generate receipts and reconcile daily collections.
Hand over prescriptions to patients after consultation.
Dispense medications strictly according to the doctor's prescription while ensuring accuracy and proper labeling.
Maintain inventory of medicines and clinic supplies, and inform management when stock replenishment is required.
Explain basic medication instructions as directed by the doctor and ensure patients receive the correct medicines.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with clinic policies.
Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
Assist the doctor with administrative tasks whenever required.
Handle patient concerns professionally and escalate issues to the doctor when necessary.
Maintain appointment registers, billing records, and other clinic documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum qualification: High School Diploma or Graduate (preferred).
Previous experience as a medical receptionist, or clinic assistant is preferred.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, email, and clinic management software, if applicable).
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Basic knowledge of handling medicines and prescriptions is an advantage.
Honest, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Ability to remain calm and courteous while handling multiple patients and phone calls.

Friendly and patient-centric attitude.
Professional appearance and behavior.
Strong numerical skills for billing and fee collection.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Punctual, responsible, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities Summary:

The Receptionist will be responsible for managing the clinic's front desk operations, attending to patients, scheduling appointments, handling phone calls and inquiries, collecting consultation fees, providing prescriptions, accurately dispensing medications as prescribed by the doctor, maintaining records, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for every patient visiting the clinic.

Pay: From ₹7,500.00 per month
