ABOUT AANA STUDIO
Aana Studio is a premium social media and creative agency working with jewellery, luxury and premium brands.
We create everything from high-end brand films and product content to fast-paced social videos, educational content, founder films and documentary-style stories.
We’re looking for a top-level Video Editor who can handle all of it.
THIS IS NOT A BASIC EDITOR ROLE
We’re not looking for someone whose skillset is simply:
Import footage → stitch clips → transition template → add music → colour grade → export.
If that's your level, please don't apply.
We want an editor who understands why an edit works, not just how to operate editing software.
Someone who can take raw footage and turn it into something that makes people stop, watch and stay.
THE KIND OF EDITING WE LOVE
You should be comfortable moving between very different editing styles.
FAST & HIGH-ENERGY
Think:
- Concert / music-video style pacing
- Very quick cuts
- Beat-synced edits
- Strong transitions
- Speed ramps
- Sound design
- Visual effects
- Dynamic typography
- Aggressive pacing when the content demands it
EDUCATIONAL & INFORMATION-HEAVY
You should also know how to take a subject, person or idea and make it genuinely interesting.
Think:
- Documentary-style edits
- Founder / personality-led content
- Educational Reels
- Explainers
- Interviews
- Talking-head content
- Voiceover-led storytelling
- B-roll driven narratives
- Informative edits with strong visual language
The edit should make information feel entertaining, not like a PowerPoint presentation.
PREMIUM / LUXURY
And when working with jewellery and luxury brands:
- Clean

- Sophisticated
- Beautifully paced
- Strong sound design
- Excellent product detailing
- No unnecessary effects just for the sake of it
You need to know when to go crazy and when to hold back.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Edit Reels, Shorts, campaigns, brand films and social content
- Turn raw footage into strong stories and engaging edits
- Create multiple editing styles depending on the client and objective
- Build strong hooks and retention into the edit
- Use typography, motion, sound design, transitions and effects intelligently
- Work closely with the cinematographer and content strategist
- Take creative ownership instead of waiting for someone to tell you every cut
- Keep up with new editing techniques, formats, tools and AI workflows
AI & NEW-AGE EDITING
You don't need to be an AI expert, but you must be curious and actively using AI in your workflow.
We want someone who understands how AI can improve:
- Editing workflows
- Rotoscoping / masking
- Generative visuals
- Subtitles and captions
- Voice / audio workflows
- Research and ideation
- VFX
- Cleanup and enhancement
- Faster content production
If you're already experimenting with AI tools and finding ways to make your editing faster and better, that's a big advantage.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Exceptional editing ability

- Great eye for visual composition
- Comfortable with Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / After Effects or equivalent
- Able to edit both fast-paced and documentary-style content

- Can work independently and take ownership
MOST IMPORTANT DISCIPLINE & TIMELINES
Timeline is key.
We work in a fast-moving creative environment. We cannot have projects sitting on your timeline for days because you're slow, disorganised or waiting for motivation.
You need to:
- Communicate clearly
- Respect deadlines
- Be active during working hours
- Manage multiple projects
- Deliver revisions quickly
- Take ownership of your work
Talent is important. Discipline is non-negotiable.
If you're someone who disappears, delays work, misses deadlines or needs constant follow-ups, this role is not for you.
OWN SETUP REQUIRED
This is not a casual freelance editing gig.
You must have your own professional editing setup capable of handling high-resolution footage and professional workflows.
You should have:
- Your own high-performance editing system
- Professional editing software
- Fast and reliable storage
- Stable internet
- Ability to handle large project files and media
WHO SHOULD NOT APPLY
Please don't apply if:
- You only know basic cutting and colour grading
- Your edits are mostly event/concert highlight videos
- You depend on someone else to tell you every cut
- You aren't comfortable with storytelling
- You aren't interested in learning new tools
- You regularly miss deadlines
- You are looking for something casual or low-commitment
We want an editor who is genuinely obsessed with the craft.

SHOW US WHAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY DO.
We’re not hiring someone to simply edit footage. That our non editor staff can also do. We’re looking for someone who can turn footage into an experience.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
