Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

B.Sc Chemistry background
5-8 yrs of Experience in a Distillery industry.
Technical and hands-on practical ability.
Prior alcohol experience is imperative.
Positive attitude, team player, and a willingness to 'go the extra mile'.
Willingness to work floating or alternating shifts should the need arise;
Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Works within clearly defined standard operations procedures and or scientific methods and adheres to quality.
Advanced critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently in order to communicate effectively with team members within and external to department.
High attention to detail, especially to quality standards and compliance systems
Basic computer operation and data entry skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible to operate the Liquefaction Plant, maintaining required safety, quality and other parameters.
Responsible to Operate the Liquefaction process smoothly without any issues.
Responsible to prepare the Product from flour - Milling along with water, Enzymes (according to dosage), and Caustic whilst maintaining the PH level and temperature pressure
Responsible for Caustic Dosage.
Conduct preventive maintenance of liquefaction equipment.
Ensure all safety devices of Liquefaction Plant and log its status to ensure safety.
Maintain log book/register of all operations parameter every 2 hours (PH, temperature, gravity, flour, flow, pressure, level taken etc.)
Analyze Machine / equipment operation parameters so that malfunctions /faults can be detected and notify superiors to minimize breakdown
Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.
