Full job description

Sportstech is looking for two experienced Amazon SEO & Search Intelligence Specialists to improve the organic visibility, keyword rankings and search relevance of our Amazon product portfolio.

In this role, you will monitor and optimise more than 100 active ASINs, analyse customer search behaviour and convert keyword, competitor and market insights into effective listing content and creative recommendations.

You will work closely with the Category Performance Manager, Data & Experimentation Analyst, Creative Designers, Video Editor and CRO Team Lead to improve qualified traffic, conversion performance and revenue across priority product categories.

Key ResponsibilitiesKeyword and Search Intelligence

Conduct keyword research using Amazon search data, competitor listings and customer search intent.
Identify high-volume, high-converting and emerging search terms.
Create structured keyword and search-term reports for priority ASINs.
Categorise keywords according to relevance, ranking potential, conversion potential and customer intent.
Identify keyword gaps and organic growth opportunities within assigned categories.

Organic Visibility Monitoring

Monitor priority ASINs for keyword rankings, indexing status and organic visibility.
Identify ranking drops, traffic losses, indexing issues and competitor movements.
Investigate changes in impressions, clicks, sessions and organic performance.
Maintain clear visibility and ranking reports for assigned product categories.
Escalate significant ranking risks and recommend corrective actions.

Amazon Listing Optimisation

Optimise product titles, bullet points, descriptions and backend search terms.
Balance keyword coverage with natural, readable and conversion-focused messaging.
Translate customer needs, objections and search intent into clear product benefits.
Ensure listing content accurately reflects product information and positioning.
Maintain compliance with Amazon content requirements and Sportstech brand standards.
Avoid unnecessary content changes without a clear hypothesis and measurable objective.

Creative and Content Support

Provide keyword-led messaging recommendations for listing images, A+ Content and product videos.
Identify the features, benefits, use cases and customer objections that should be communicated visually.
Prepare clear and actionable briefs for Creative Designers and the Video Editor.
Review completed creative assets to ensure alignment with customer intent, product positioning and the approved SEO strategy.

SEO Testing and Performance Analysis

Develop hypotheses for testing titles, bullet points and other listing elements.
Work with the Data & Experimentation Analyst to evaluate CTR, CVR, sessions, revenue and organic visibility.
Support Amazon A/B testing through Manage Your Experiments where applicable.
Document test results, key findings and optimisation learnings.
Apply successful SEO strategies to relevant ASINs and product categories.

AI-Assisted SEO Workflows

Use Claude Skills, AI agents and similar tools for keyword clustering, competitor research, listing audits, content drafting and customer-intent analysis.
Build repeatable AI-assisted workflows for keyword reports and listing optimisation.
Improve prompts, skills and processes to increase speed, accuracy and consistency.
Validate all AI-generated outputs against verified product information, Amazon data and Sportstech brand requirements.
Document effective AI workflows for future use across the CRO team.

Documentation and Collaboration

Maintain accurate records of keyword strategies, listing changes, test results and performance developments.
Coordinate priorities with the Category Performance Manager and CRO Team Lead.
Communicate ranking risks, market opportunities and implementation blockers.
Collaborate with analytics, creative, category and CRO stakeholders.
Contribute successful methods, templates and workflows to the central CRO knowledge base.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Practical experience in Amazon SEO and listing optimisation.
Hands-on experience using Amazon Seller Central.
Experience with Amazon keyword-research, ranking-monitoring or competitor-analysis tools.
Strong understanding of Amazon indexing, organic rankings, keyword relevance and search behaviour.
Experience optimising Amazon titles, bullet points, descriptions and backend search terms.
Ability to analyse CTR, CVR, sessions, revenue and organic visibility.
Experience translating keyword and customer-intent insights into conversion-focused content.
Professional experience using Claude, AI agents or similar AI tools.
Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Amazon Brand Analytics and Search Query Performance.
Experience managing Amazon SEO across a large ASIN portfolio.
Knowledge of the German Amazon marketplace.
Experience using Amazon Manage Your Experiments.
Understanding of ACoS, TACoS and the relationship between paid and organic performance.
Experience collaborating with creative, analytics and category-management teams.
German-language keyword research or listing optimisation experience.
