About the Role
We are looking for an energetic, target-oriented and customer-focused Sales Executive to develop and manage the sales of our cheese balls and potato chips across Kannur district.
The Sales Executive will be responsible for developing the distributor and retailer network, generating new sales, maintaining relationships with existing customers, ensuring product availability and achieving assigned sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Target Achievement
- Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets assigned by the management.
- Generate sales of cheese balls and potato chips across the assigned territory.
- Develop new customers and increase sales from existing customers.
- Plan daily routes and ensure effective coverage of the assigned market.
- Conduct regular market visits and ensure maximum outlet coverage.
- Follow up on sales enquiries and convert opportunities into orders.
2. Retailer & Customer Development
- Visit retail shops, supermarkets, bakeries, provision stores, tea shops, wholesalers and other potential outlets.
- Identify and onboard new retailers and customers.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing retailers.
- Take regular orders and ensure timely delivery coordination.
- Understand retailer requirements and provide appropriate product information.
- Collect customer feedback regarding product quality, pricing, packaging and demand.
3. Distributor Management
- Coordinate with distributors for regular stock availability.
- Support distributors in developing their assigned market.
- Monitor distributor stock and identify fast-moving and slow-moving products.
- Ensure adequate product availability at retail outlets.
- Assist in resolving distributor and retailer concerns.
4. Market Expansion
- Identify new markets and sales opportunities within Kannur district.
- Increase the number of active retail outlets carrying company products.
- Develop new routes and territories based on market potential.
- Ensure proper product placement and visibility at retail outlets.
- Promote new products and pack sizes introduced by the company.
5. Product Promotion & Merchandising
- Promote company products effectively at retail outlets.
- Ensure proper display and visibility of cheese balls and potato chips.
- Implement company-approved promotional schemes and offers.
- Monitor competitor products, prices, schemes and promotional activities.
- Communicate market feedback and competitor information to the Sales Manager.
6. Collections & Outstanding Follow-Up
- Follow up with customers and distributors for outstanding payments as instructed.
- Maintain proper records of collections and pending amounts.
- Coordinate with the accounts/finance team regarding customer outstanding balances.
- Ensure adherence to company credit policies.
7. Reporting
- Submit daily sales and market visit reports.
- Maintain customer and outlet details.
- Submit daily order details and collection reports.
- Report market developments, competitor activities and customer feedback.
- Provide regular updates regarding sales achievement and territory coverage.

Candidate Profile
Education:
- Plus Two / Diploma / Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Graduates with a background in Sales, Marketing, Commerce or Business Administration will be preferred.
Experience:
- 1–3 years of sales experience preferred.
- Experience in FMCG, food products, snacks, confectionery or consumer goods will be an advantage.
- Freshers with strong communication skills and a willingness to work in field sales may also be considered.

Job Location & Working Pattern
Base Office: KINFRA A Block, Nadukani, Kerala
The Sales Executive will primarily work in the field across Kannur district, with regular reporting and coordination from the KINFRA A Block, Nadukani office.
