Key Responsibilities

Assist the Chef de Partie / Pastry Chef in the daily production of pastries, desserts, cakes, and bakery products.
Prepare and execute recipes according to established standards and specifications.
Handle preparation of cakes, pastries, tarts, cookies, mousses, creams, chocolates, and plated desserts.
Assist with bread and bakery production as required.
Ensure proper weighing, measuring, mixing, baking, finishing, and decoration of pastry products.
Maintain consistency in taste, texture, quality, portion size, and presentation.
Support the pastry team during buffets, events, banquets, and special orders.
Ensure all ingredients are properly stored, labelled, and handled according to food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pastry kitchen, equipment, utensils, and workstations.
Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures and minimize food wastage.
Assist in monitoring inventory and inform the senior chef about shortages of ingredients and supplies.
Operate pastry kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
Follow hotel/restaurant HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
Assist in training and guiding Commis Chefs and kitchen helpers when required.
Contribute ideas for new pastry products, desserts, and presentation techniques.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
