Job Description
Point 2 Point Solutions is looking for a skilled and passionate .NET Developer / ASP.NET Web Developer with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining web applications using Microsoft technologies.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience in ASP.NET development, database management, and front-end technologies, along with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using ASP.NET, C#, MVC/Web Forms, .NET Framework/.NET Core, and related Microsoft technologies.
- Write clean, reusable, scalable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, and complex queries.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services where required.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, UI/UX designers, QA teams, and other developers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain existing applications and implement new features based on client requirements.
- Ensure applications are secure, responsive, and optimized for performance.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in ASP.NET/C# development.
- Strong knowledge of ASP.NET MVC/Web Forms, C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core.
- Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and Bootstrap.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including stored procedures, functions, joins, indexing, and query optimization.
- Experience working with REST APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of responsive web development and cross-browser compatibility.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Entity Framework or LINQ.
- Knowledge of Web APIs, JSON, XML, and API integrations.
- Exposure to Azure, IIS deployment, or cloud-based hosting will be an added advantage.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Knowledge of CMS platforms or e-commerce applications is a plus.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
