As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining, securing, and optimizing the organization’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, servers, and network systems. You will ensure the seamless operation of business-critical IT services, strengthen cybersecurity measures, and support the technology needs of our US Healthcare operations environment.
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, networking equipment, and peripherals.
- Perform hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades as required.
- Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of all IT assets.
- Install, configure, and support software applications used across the organization.
- Coordinate with software vendors and service providers for issue resolution, updates, and maintenance.
- Monitor server and network performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive organizational and healthcare data.
- Conduct routine infrastructure monitoring, preventive maintenance, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents within defined timelines.
- Support disaster recovery planning, backup management, and business continuity initiatives.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and infrastructure improvements for management review.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and technology initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and end-users.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Management, System Administration, or Network Administration.
- Strong expertise in hardware and software troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience managing servers, networking equipment, operating systems, and IT security tools.
- Knowledge of healthcare IT systems and compliance standards such as HIPAA will be an added advantage.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, or equivalent are preferred.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Immediate joiners or candidates who can join within 30 days will be given preference.
- Willing to work night shift from our office at Elippode, Trivandrum.
