1) InDesign Template Developer:
Job Description
- Template development XML-IN workflow
- To develop new functionalities using JAVA scripting in InDesign
- To lead/mentor developers and disseminate knowledge through knowledge-sharing presentations
- To be a part of a strong, experienced, energetic team working on a rapid, agile development schedule
- To initiate self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company
- To provide technical support to the production team
- Template development XML-IN workflow
Skills:
- Possess 4+ years experience in Indesign Scripting
- Strong in Perl/Java scripts in INDESIGN
- Should be able to create script with XML and Non-XML environment
- Be able to work independently and produce well-designed, easily maintainable c
- Be willing to provide production support whenever needed
- XSLT, Acrobat Professional and Photoshop scripting will be added advantage
2) LaTeX Template Developer:
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled XML-In LaTeX Template Developer to design and implement high-quality LaTeX templates that integrate XML data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in LaTeX typesetting, XML data manipulation, and a keen eye for detail to ensure that the final output meets our standards for quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain LaTeX templates that effectively utilize XML data
- Collaborate with content creators to understand their formatting needs
- Ensure templates are user-friendly and well-documented
- Test and validate templates to ensure accuracy and performance
- Provide technical support and training to users of the templates
- Stay updated with the latest trends in LaTeX and XML technologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in LaTeX automation/template development
- Proven experience working with XML and related technologies
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous LaTeX projects
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Skills:
- Proficiency in LaTeX typesetting
- Experience with XML data structures
- Familiarity with XSLT for XML transformation
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Java
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
