Job purpose
As a Senior within the GES Technology Group, you will have the opportunity to work directly with Digital Delivery, product, engineering, quality and risk, data privacy, cyber, Legal and business stakeholders to drive the Compliance PMO function for software releases. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, tracking, and securing all required compliance approvals across the software lifecycle for release readiness. The role ensures that releases progress through required governance checkpoints on time, with clear evidence, transparent issue escalation, and minimal disruption to delivery timelines or business operations that impact a global audience.
Key job responsibilities:

Drive coordination of all required compliance approvals for releases, including BISO, quality, risk, data privacy, cyber, and other governance signoffs as applicable.

Coordinate and gather information required for compliance documentation, including data privacy assessments, risk inputs, control evidence, and supporting artifacts from various product domain teams.

Drive engagement with member firm and local geography risk leaders to socialize release scope, confirm required risk considerations, share evidence of global risk compliance process approvals and coordinate responses to questions pertaining to risk controls of the software and/or process.

Partner with product, engineering, QA, security, privacy, risk, operations, and business teams to ensure release deliverables meet SSDLC control requirements before go/no-go decisions.

Maintain a centralized compliance tracker that captures approval status, required artifacts, open risks, blockers, owners, target dates, and closure evidence for each release.

Identify, document, monitor, and escalate compliance risks, approval delays, control gaps, and release readiness issues with clear mitigation plans and ownership.

Facilitate compliance readiness reviews, approval checkpoints, risk reviews, and compliance go/no-go meetings to support timely and controlled release decisions.

Ensure required release evidence is complete, current, auditable, and aligned to applicable quality and risk, privacy, cyber, and SSDLC standards.

Provide regular executive-ready reporting on compliance approval status, key risks, decisions needed, and upcoming governance milestones.

Continuously improve Compliance PMO processes, approval workflows, templates, dashboards, and documentation to increase transparency and reduce release friction.

Support post-release reviews by capturing lessons learned, compliance exceptions, residual risks, and process improvement opportunities.

Support hypercare and on-demand release activities by confirming required compliance approvals, documenting exceptions, and coordinating time-sensitive governance decisions for high-priority production issues.
Education/Background:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably computer science) and/or masters degree in business
At least one of the following accreditations or working on the following:
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt)

Must have:
- Ideally 5+ years of experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO), compliance PMO, technology governance, release governance, or strategy/consulting environment
- Technology project or release governance experience with Azure DevOps / JIRA or similar software product development management tools, including experience tracking milestones, approvals, risks, and dependencies
- Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Project and other collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Teams
- Strong working knowledge of SSDLC governance, release readiness controls, approval checkpoints, and evidence management
- Experience coordinating cross-functional compliance approvals across quality, risk, data privacy, cyber, engineering, QA, operations, and business stakeholders
- Understanding of risk, cyber, and BISO processes, including how these functions support compliance reviews, control assessments, and release approval decisions
- Ability to manage compliance trackers, release dashboards, approval artifacts, audit evidence, RAID logs, and executive-ready status reporting
- Able to collaborate effectively as part of a global, remote team
- Ability to travel 10% - 20% both in the US / Global (including travel to Hyderabad, India)
- Strong analytical, consultative, quantitative, and project management skills
- Strong executive presence, excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills with an aptitude for working as part of a global team
- Problem solving, critical thinking and conceptual thinking skills
- Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects from start to finish
- Experience in driving cross-organizational initiatives
- A proven strategic thinker with the ability to contribute to the creation of business cases, and build roadmaps under the guidance of a program leader
Good to have
- Awareness of SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, data privacy, cyber risk, secure development, and technology control frameworks
- Experience working in a highly regulated technology environment with formal approval gates, audit evidence requirements, and production release governance
