Job Title: Cyber Security Trainer

Location: Kochi / Across Technovalley Centres (India, Africa & Middle East)

Role Overview

The Cyber Security Trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality, hands-on training aligned with global cybersecurity certifications. The trainer must bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world cyber defense practices, enabling learners to become industry-ready professionals.

This role demands deep technical expertise, mentoring ability, industry exposure, and passion for shaping future cybersecurity leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver instructor-led training for global certifications such as:
CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
CHFI (Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator)
CSA (Certified SOC Analyst)
CompTIA Security+
CompTIA CySA+
CompTIA Pentest+
Other advanced red team / blue team programs
Conduct practical lab sessions on:
Ethical Hacking & Penetration Testing
Network Security
SOC Operations
Digital Forensics
Malware Analysis
Vulnerability Assessment
SIEM tools (Splunk / QRadar / Wazuh etc.)
Design and update training materials in alignment with global certification bodies.
Mentor students on career pathways, certification preparation, and interview readiness.
Support placement team with technical assessments and mock interviews.
Conduct workshops, seminars, bootcamps, and corporate training programs.
Participate in curriculum development and R&D initiatives.
Contribute to cybersecurity awareness campaigns and academic outreach programs.

Required Qualifications

B.Tech / BSc / BCA / MCA / MSc in IT, CS, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity training or industry practice.
Strong hands-on experience in penetration testing and security operations.
Experience working with live lab environments.

Mandatory Certifications (Any 2 or more preferred)

CEH
CHFI
CSA
CompTIA Security+
CompTIA CySA+
OSCP / OSCC / Equivalent

Technical Skills Required

Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, Firewalls)
Linux & Windows Security
Web Application Security
Cloud Security Basics (AWS / Azure Security)
Vulnerability tools (Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus)
SIEM tools exposure
Incident Response fundamentals
