We are looking for an experienced Web Publisher to help us support our businesses globally and enhance the customer experience by delivering a variety of digital and marketing projects, ranging from simple tactics to complex multi-month initiatives, in a highly matrixed organization. Partnering with web strategists, design and content specialists, and the segment marketing teams, we administrate and leverage various web production tools to deliver customer-facing web and digital assets.
The primary responsibilities of the Web Producer include authoring Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) sites, building specific campaign landing pages and Quality Assurance testing. The web publisher may also work closely with the assigned Content Strategists, Site Managers, and SEO Managers who define the website structure and organization of the content within it.
About the Role:
In this opportunity as a Web Publisher , you will:
Creation of new websites within AEM.
Editing of existing websites within AEM.
Selection of templates and components to establish site framework within AEM.
Building and assembly of pages within AEM using editable templates and content fragments.
Replication of defined site structure (Information Architecture)
Content management – downloading and uploading files and assets from various content and DAM systems following guidelines on content
Appropriate formatting of content within the AEM environment – following style guides to apply correct style classes and rules.
Resizing images to optimize for weight and aesthetics.
QA of site pages and work: content, links, browser, form success, functional (full test script will be provided)
Communication with PM providing migration status, defining milestones and possible barriers to completion.
Notifying PM where assets are incorrect or missing, or more direction is required.
Adhere to documented processes and best practices.
Following up with stakeholders and providing status updates
Work Mode: Hybrid-3 days from office.
Shift Timing: 1pm IST to 10pm IST.
About You:
You're a fit for the role of Web Publisher, if your background includes:
3-5 years of related experience and a graduate Degree in a related discipline.
Adobe AEM content authoring.
Excellent CMS digital authoring experience within best-in-class system: Ideally AEM/CQ5, otherwise WordPress, or any other CMS tool.
Excellent core content management skills: formatting, structuring, tagging, linking, inserting images and video.
Knowledge of Project management tools like Workfront and Jira will be an added advantage.
Proven strong web standards-based HTML, JAVA and CSS.
Proven understanding of the anatomy of responsive websites.
Photoshop slicing and image optimization.
Excellent knowledge of web standards-based HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Knowledge of QA and automation scripting using Java and Selenium will be an added advantage.
Strong interest in technology and creativity.
Familiar with SEO concepts and applications.
An understanding of user experience best practices
