Job Purpose
The BI BAU Senior Associate, BI is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality delivery of reporting and analytics services for assigned markets/countries. The role leads a team of BI professionals, drives operational excellence, manages stakeholder relationships, ensures adherence to quality and SLA commitments, promotes automation and continuous improvement initiatives, and supports talent development within the team.
The Senior Associate, BI acts as the key liaison between local BI Consultants, Commercial teams, Operations, and Global Delivery teams, ensuring business requirements are translated into efficient and scalable reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Operations Management
-
Ensure timely and quality delivery of all scheduled and ad hoc reports within agreed SLAs and KPIs.

Monitor daily production activities and proactively manage delivery risks, escalations, and dependencies.

Oversee end-to-end report generation, validation, publishing, and distribution processes.

Establish strong operational controls to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with reporting standards.

Drive adherence to service management processes, including incident, problem, and change management.
Senior Associate, BIship & Resource Management
-
Lead, mentor, and coach Associates and Senior Associates within assigned teams.
-
Manage workforce planning, capacity management, resource allocation, and cross-utilization across markets and projects.

Set performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews, feedback sessions, and development discussions.
-
Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and customer-focused team culture.
-
Support hiring, onboarding, knowledge transfer, and succession planning initiatives.
Stakeholder Management
-
Serve as the primary point of contact for BI Consultants, Commercial Teams, Operations, and Delivery Leadership.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure effective communication regarding delivery status, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Manage escalations professionally and drive timely resolution of critical business issues.

Present operational updates, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives to leadership and stakeholders.
Quality & Governance
-
Ensure compliance with BI governance standards, SOPs, audit requirements, and data security guidelines.

Review and monitor report quality metrics and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Drive root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and establish preventive measures.

Ensure production trackers, report inventories, knowledge repositories, and process documentation remain updated.
Automation & Continuous Improvement

Identify automation opportunities across reporting and operational processes.
-
Drive efficiencies through the use of Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, Python, Alteryx, DIPE, Discover, Dynamics, and other BI tools where applicable.

Lead process simplification, standardization, and optimization initiatives to improve productivity and reduce cycle times.

Track and deliver measurable business benefits from continuous improvement initiatives.
Analytics & Technical Excellence

Maintain advanced knowledge of BI systems, reporting platforms, and NielsenIQ tools.

Support complex reporting investigations, data validation exercises, and issue resolution.

Ensure best practices in dashboard development, data modeling, visualization, and reporting automation are followed.

Promote data-driven decision-making and analytical excellence within the team.
Performance & Metrics Management

Monitor operational KPIs including SLA adherence, productivity, quality, utilization, automation gains, and customer satisfaction.

Review team performance dashboards and implement action plans to address gaps.

Report business performance and operational trends to management regularly.

Qualifications
Preferred Experience
-
6-10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Analytics, or Operations.
-
Experience managing global stakeholders and virtual teams.
-
Strong understanding of BI delivery, reporting operations, data governance, and automation frameworks.
-
Experience with Power BI, SQL, Excel, and workflow automation tools preferred.
