Full job description

As a Business Development Executive - Telesales, you will be responsible for driving the company’s sales efforts through outbound calls, telemarketing campaigns, and client relationship management. Your role will involve generating leads, qualifying prospects, delivering compelling sales pitches, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while achieving business growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy Development

Develop and execute telesales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
Identify and target potential markets and customer segments to drive telesales campaigns and initiatives.

2. Lead Generation and Qualification

Generate new leads through outbound calls, email campaigns, and other telemarketing activities.
Qualify leads by assessing customer needs, budget, and potential for purchase to ensure high-quality prospects.
Maintain an active pipeline of leads and consistently follow up with them to move through the sales process.

3. Customer Relationship Management

Build strong, lasting relationships with prospective and existing customers by maintaining regular communication and providing consistent follow-up.
Understand customers' needs and recommend tailored solutions that best meet their requirements.
Provide exceptional customer service to foster loyalty and ensure repeat business.

4. Product Knowledge

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s products, services, and value propositions to effectively communicate with customers.
Stay updated with the latest product features, industry trends, and competitor offerings to ensure a competitive edge in sales discussions.

5. Sales Pitch and Presentation

Develop and deliver engaging and persuasive sales pitches to prospects over the phone.
Conduct virtual presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the company’s offerings and highlight their benefits and features.

6. Objection Handling and Negotiation

Handle customer objections confidently, addressing concerns and offering solutions that overcome barriers to purchase.
Negotiate terms, pricing, and packages with customers to close sales while ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for both the customer and the company.

7. Sales Performance Monitoring

Track and analyze sales performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of telesales campaigns and individual efforts.
Provide regular reports to management on sales activities, pipeline status, and progress toward sales targets.

8. CRM and Database Management

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and lead statuses in the CRM system.
Ensure all customer data is recorded properly, maintaining data integrity and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

9. Team Collaboration

Collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and customer support teams to align telesales activities with broader business objectives.
Share valuable customer insights and feedback to improve products, services, and sales strategies.

10. Training and Development

Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance sales techniques, product knowledge, and industry expertise.
Share best practices and lessons learned with team members to contribute to the growth and success of the sales department.

11. Customer Feedback and Insights

Gather and relay customer feedback to relevant teams to improve products and services.
Analyze customer feedback and use insights to identify emerging trends and opportunities for increasing sales.

12. Performance Incentives and Rewards

Work diligently to meet or exceed sales targets and qualify for performance-based incentives.
Maintain high motivation and enthusiasm to drive consistent sales performance.

13. Ethical Sales Practices

Adhere to ethical sales practices, company policies, and industry regulations at all times.
Ensure transparency, honesty, and integrity in all telesales activities to maintain the company’s reputation and trust with clients.

14. Continuous Improvement

Identify areas for improvement within telesales processes and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and sales effectiveness.
Stay proactive in finding innovative approaches and techniques to boost customer engagement and conversion rates.

15. Customer-Centric Approach

Focus on customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
Personalize your communication and sales approach based on individual customer needs, preferences, and circumstances.

16. Technology Utilization

Leverage telecommunication tools, CRM software, and other digital technologies to streamline sales processes and improve productivity.
Utilize data analytics to track performance, identify trends, and optimize telesales strategies for maximum effectiveness.
