About this Role

We are seeking a Telecom BSS/OSS Test Analyst with strong experience in end-to-end software testing across telecommunications environments. This role focuses on validating business-critical BSS and OSS applications, including CRM, billing, mediation and ordering platforms, ensuring high-quality delivery through structured testing, defect management and technical troubleshooting. The role requires strong functional testing expertise combined with technical knowledge of telecom systems, web services, Unix and SQL.

What you’ll do

Execute testing activities across the full Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) within Telecom BSS and OSS environmentsPerform System Testing, System Integration Testing and Regression Testing for enterprise applicationsValidate business processes across CRM, Billing, Online, Mediation and Ordering platformsDesign, execute and maintain test scenarios, test cases and test data to support project deliveryTest and validate applications such as Siebel CRM, ordering systems, sales platforms and self-care applicationsVerify integrations between multiple telecom applications and downstream systemsPerform testing of web services including XML, SOAP, REST, WSDL and XSD-based integrationsExecute SQL queries and Unix commands to validate transactions, troubleshoot defects and analyse test resultsSupport first-level troubleshooting and debugging activities to identify root causes of application issuesLog, track and retest defects using defect management and test management toolsCollaborate with business, development and support teams to resolve issues and ensure successful deliverySupport quality assurance processes and contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices

Who you are

Experienced in the full Software Testing Life Cycle within Telecom BSS and OSS environmentsStrong knowledge of System Testing, System Integration Testing and Regression Testing methodologiesHands-on experience testing telecom applications such as Siebel CRM, ordering, sales and self-care platformsGood understanding of telecom BSS systems including Siebel CRM, Oracle BRM, OSM and ESB/OSBExperience working with web services and integration technologies including XML, SOAP, REST, WSDL and XSDStrong Unix and SQL skills with the ability to analyse application and database behaviourProven troubleshooting and debugging capabilitiesExperience using test and defect management tools such as ALM and JIRAStrong analytical, communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively within cross-functional and distributed teams
