Full job description

Job Title: Sales Engineer – Civil Survey EquipmentJob SummaryWe are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Sales Engineer – Civil Survey Equipment to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a B.Tech Civil Engineering graduate who is interested in combining technical knowledge with customer engagement and sales. Fresh graduates with strong communication skills are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 2–5 years of sales experience in civil survey equipment, construction equipment, or related engineering products will have an added advantage.The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling surveying and geospatial equipment, understanding customer requirements, conducting product demonstrations, and building long-term relationships with clients across infrastructure, construction, engineering consultancy, and government sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities within the civil engineering, construction, infrastructure, and surveying sectors.
Promote and sell civil survey equipment and related software.
Able to do cold calling and sales leads creation on phone / emails.
Understand customer technical requirements and recommend appropriate surveying solutions.
Prepare product presentations, demonstrations, and customer training documentations.
Prepare quotations, proposals, and follow up on sales opportunities to closure.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, government departments, educational institutions, and survey professionals.
Coordinate with technical support and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Keep track of market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in surveying and construction.
Prepare sales reports, maintain CRM records, and achieve assigned sales targets.
Participate in exhibitions, seminars, customer meetings, and promotional events.

Qualifications

B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Candidates with 2-5 years of experience in engineering product sales, preferably in civil survey equipment, will be preferred.

Required Skills

Good understanding of civil engineering concepts and surveying fundamentals.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent command of English, Hindi, and Marathi (spoken and written).
Confident personality with the ability to interact with customers at all levels.
Quick learner with a strong willingness to develop technical and sales expertise.
Self-driven, energetic, and result-oriented approach.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Willingness to travel extensively anywhere in India for customer visits and demonstrations.
