Job Description – Quality Control (QC) Engineer

Position: Quality Control (QC) Engineer
Experience: Minimum 5 Years
Location: Budigere
Industry: Construction / Real Estate

Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Control Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in RCC works, Mivan aluminium formwork, high-rise residential buildings, and finishing works, ensuring compliance with quality standards, project specifications, and applicable IS codes.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct quality inspections for RCC, Mivan formwork, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.
Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Prepare and maintain Inspection Requests (IRs), quality checklists, test reports, and QA/QC documentation.
Perform field quality tests, including slump tests, concrete cube sampling, and material inspections.
Identify non-conformities (NCRs) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site engineers to resolve quality-related issues.
Monitor the quality of incoming materials and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Participate in internal quality audits and client/consultant inspections.
Maintain quality records and ensure timely documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Control for residential or commercial construction projects.
Experience in at least one complete high-rise residential project.
Hands-on experience with Mivan aluminium formwork is preferred.
Strong knowledge of RCC construction, finishing works, and relevant IS codes.

Technical Skills

Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and quality management systems.
Experience in construction material testing and quality inspections.
Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings.
Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Pay: ₹9,727.05 - ₹43,162.80 per month
