We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Manual Testing and hands-on expertise in Web, Mobile, and API Testing. The candidate should be passionate about ensuring product quality, identifying defects early, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
As a Senior QA Engineer at ELIXR Labs, your primary focus will be to ensure the quality and reliability of applications through comprehensive testing activities. Your responsibilities will include:

Execute end-to-end testing activities for web, mobile, and API-based applications to ensure software quality and functionality.

Analyse business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to create detailed test scenarios and test cases.

Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing to identify and report defects.

Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

Track, document, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA and participate in defect triage meetings.

Validate APIs using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar platforms and ensure seamless integration between systems.

Conduct mobile application testing across different devices, operating systems, and screen resolutions.

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Prepare and maintain test documentation, test execution reports, and quality metrics to provide visibility to stakeholders.

Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements and quality best practices.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
3 to 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.

Strong experience in Manual Testing.

Hands-on experience in Web Application Testing.

Hands-on experience in Mobile Application Testing (Android/iOS).

Strong knowledge of API Testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.

Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA.

Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
