A well-designed website only delivers on that design if the front-end build matches it exactly — responsive, fast, accessible, and true to the original Figma or XD file. This role exists to be that translator: converting design files into functional, high-performing WordPress websites, primarily through Elementor Pro, while making sure performance, SEO, and accessibility are never afterthoughts.
You’ll work closely with back-end developers and designers to make sure what ships matches what was designed, and that it holds up across browsers, devices, and Core Web Vitals checks.
This role is for someone who enjoys:
- Turning a design file into a pixel-accurate, functional website
- Getting genuinely good at Elementor Pro rather than treating it as a shortcut tool
- Caring about site speed and SEO as much as visual polish
- Using AI tools to work faster without cutting corners on quality
If you’re someone who takes real pride in a front-end build that’s fast, accessible, and true to the original design, this role gives you constant opportunity to prove that.
- Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using Elementor Pro
- Convert Figma/Adobe XD/Sketch layouts and wireframes into functional WordPress/HTML pages
- Manage WordPress themes, plugins, and third-party integrations (APIs, CRMs, WooCommerce, etc.)
- Implement responsive, mobile-first, and accessible designs aligned with WCAG/ADA compliance
- Build engaging animations and interactive elements using GSAP or Three.js where the design calls for it
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility with consistent design and performance
- Apply UI/UX design principles to catch usability issues before they reach production
- Ensure website performance optimization for speed, scalability, and SEO best practices
- Implement Core Web Vitals improvements — caching, minification, CDN configuration
- Apply SEO best practices at the front-end level (semantic markup, page speed, structured content)
- Collaborate with back-end developers for seamless integration and troubleshooting
- Work with designers to clarify intent when a design element doesn’t translate cleanly to the web
- Support WooCommerce, multisite, and multilingual site setups where required
- Stay updated with AI tools and automation trends to improve workflows and efficiency
- Use AI-based tools for design-to-Elementor template conversion, HTML generation, and optimization tasks
- Identify opportunities to speed up repetitive front-end tasks without compromising quality
- You can look at a design file and build it accurately without needing constant clarification
- You care about site speed and accessibility as much as visual accuracy
- You’re comfortable going deep in Elementor Pro rather than just using it at a surface level
- You catch cross-browser and cross-device issues before QA has to flag them
