Job Summary
This role is accountable for leading the operations and support of complex enterprise identity and access management environments, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of reliable and secure IDaaS solutions. The individual orchestrates SailPoint IdentityNow and FAM operations, leverages Java for custom integrations, and empowers teams to meet and exceed client SLAs through strategic problem-solving and process innovation.
The role requires extensive expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ, SailPoint File Access Manager (FAM), Identity Governance, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Segregation of Duties (SoD), compliance frameworks, and enterprise security architecture. The architect will work closely with business stakeholders, security teams, infrastructure teams, and application owners to implement secure and compliant IAM solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and optimize SailPoint IdentityNow and FAM operations by applying expert-level knowledge of IDaaS implementation to ensure high system availability, performance, and compliance with client SLAs.
2. Drive the adoption of automation and advanced scripting using Java within SailPoint platforms to enhance incident resolution, provisioning, and access reviews.
3. Oversee and improve identity governance processes by configuring and maintaining connectors, policies, and workflows in SailPoint IdentityNow and FAM environments.
4. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures leveraging SailPoint and Java expertise.
5. Mentor and guide support teams, providing expert insights on SailPoint best practices, troubleshooting complex operational challenges, and fostering continuous skill development.
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate evolving client requirements into operational enhancements using SailPoint capabilities.
7. Champion process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across identity management operations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards.
Define enterprise IAM and IGA architecture using SailPoint IdentityIQ and FAM.
Develop target-state IAM roadmaps aligned with business and security requirements.

Design provisioning and de-provisioning workflows.
Design custom workflows, forms, rules and approval processes.
Architect application onboarding frameworks.
Design connector and integration strategies.
Define identity correlation and aggregation processes.
Architect identity lifecycle automation.
SailPoint File Access Manager (FAM)
Design and implement File Access Governance solutions.
Architect file entitlement discovery and access review processes.
Design governance controls for:

Implement owner certification campaigns.
Establish least-privilege access models.
Analyze excessive permissions and dormant access.

Design and manage certification campaigns.
Implement role mining and role engineering strategies.
Support audit readiness and compliance reporting.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Conduct architecture workshops.

Mentor SailPoint consultants and engineers.
Engage with client security and enterprise architecture teams.
Provide solution guidance during customer audits and assessments.
