Full job description

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and experienced Content Writer with expertise in Video Production Scripts and Cinematography to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of storytelling, scriptwriting, visual composition, and video production. You will be responsible for developing creative concepts and scripts for real estate videos, including property walkthroughs, project launches, promotional campaigns, brand films, social media videos, and other marketing content.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mohali, Punjab.

Key Responsibilities

Develop creative concepts, storylines, and scripts for real estate videos and marketing campaigns.
Write scripts for property walkthroughs, project launch videos, promotional videos, brand films, advertisements, social media videos, and other video content.
Create detailed video scripts with scene descriptions, dialogues, voiceovers, shot suggestions, visual references, and production directions.
Translate marketing objectives and client briefs into compelling video concepts and narratives.
Develop storyboards, shot lists, and visual treatment plans to support video production.
Apply knowledge of cinematography to recommend suitable camera angles, framing, shot composition, lighting, movement, and visual storytelling techniques.
Collaborate with video editors, motion graphics designers, videographers, marketers, and other creative team members.
Research real estate projects, locations, target audiences, and market trends to develop relevant and engaging content.
Adapt writing style and storytelling approach according to different brands, audiences, platforms, and campaign objectives.
Write scripts for both long-form and short-form video content, including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, and digital advertisements.
Review and refine scripts based on creative feedback, client requirements, and production needs.
Search for suitable stock footage and visual references based on the script, mood, storytelling requirements, and brand guidelines, and share them with video editors and other creative team members.
Collaborate with editors by providing clear references for visual style, camera angles, transitions, scene composition, pacing, and overall creative direction.
Stay updated with trends in video content, cinematography, storytelling, social media, and AI-assisted content creation.
Research, identify, and provide relevant stock videos, images, visual references, cinematography references, and creative inspiration to support video concepts and production requirements.

Skills & Requirements

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in content writing, scriptwriting, video production, or a related creative role.
Strong experience in video scriptwriting and visual storytelling.
Good understanding of cinematography, camera language, shot composition, framing, lighting, and visual storytelling.
Ability to write engaging scripts for real estate, advertising, promotional, and branded content.
Strong command of written English and excellent storytelling abilities.
Ability to convert ideas, concepts, and marketing briefs into clear and engaging video narratives.
Understanding of video production workflows from concept development to final production.
Ability to create or understand storyboards, shot lists, scene breakdowns, and visual references.
Strong research skills and the ability to understand different industries, brands, audiences, and products.
Ability to work collaboratively with creative and production teams.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Creative thinking and the ability to develop fresh and engaging content ideas.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience creating content for the real estate industry, including property walkthroughs, residential projects, commercial properties, project launches, or real estate marketing campaigns.
Experience working with a digital marketing agency, creative agency, production house, or client-facing environment.
Experience writing scripts for advertisements, brand films, social media campaigns, and promotional videos.
Basic knowledge of video editing, motion graphics, or post-production workflows.
Experience with AI-assisted content creation, AI video generation, or AI research and writing tools.
A portfolio showcasing video scripts, campaigns, creative concepts, or published video content.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
