Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for creating exceptional mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and project managers.
Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries/SDKs.
Debug, troubleshoot, and fix application issues and performance bottlenecks.
Optimize applications for better speed, scalability, and user experience.
Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards are followed.
Work with modern Android development practices and Material Design guidelines.
Stay updated with the latest Android tools, technologies, and trends.

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Kotlin (Mandatory).
Good knowledge of Java.
Experience with Android Studio and Android SDK.
Strong understanding of MVVM architecture (MVC is a plus).
Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of Firebase services (Auth, Firestore, FCM, Analytics, etc.).
Experience with Git/GitHub version control.
Understanding of Material Design principles.
Familiarity with SQLite and Room Database.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Candidates with a strong academic background and relevant certifications will be preferred.

Experience

Minimum 3+ years of professional Android application development experience.
Experience in publishing applications on the Google Play Store is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Jetpack Compose.
Experience with Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
