Job Description – Accounts Assistant

Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Wazirpur, Delhi
Salary Range: Rs.20,000 – Rs.22,000 per month
Reports To: Senior Accountant / CEO

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Assistant to support daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have basic to intermediate knowledge of accounting principles, Busy Accounting Software, and MS Excel. The candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, processing invoices, handling reconciliations, and ensuring timely data entry and documentation.

Roles & Responsibilities
Accounting Operations

Assist in daily accounting entries in Busy Software.
Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payments accurately.
Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
Support ledger maintenance and account reconciliation activities.

Invoice & Payment Management

Prepare and generate invoices for customers.
Assist in tracking accounts receivable and payable.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for payment follow-ups.
Maintain records of outstanding payments and dues.

Taxation & Compliance

Support GST and TDS data preparation and documentation.
Assist in maintaining compliance-related records and reports.
Coordinate with senior accounts team for filing requirements.

Reconciliation & Reporting

Perform bank and petty cash reconciliations.
Assist in preparing monthly accounting reports and statements.
Identify discrepancies and report them to the senior accountant.

Data & Record Management

Ensure accurate and timely data entry in accounting software.
Maintain organised financial files and records.
Ensure confidentiality and safe handling of financial information.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or pursuing/completed related qualification.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance-related role preferred.

Skills Required

Strong command over Busy Software of Busy Accounting Software.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
Understanding of accounting principles, debit-credit concepts, GST, and TDS basics.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Office Timings: 9:45 AM – 6:45 PM (Monday to Saturday)
Weekly Off: Sunday
EnviroWorking Conditions: Office-based role
