Job Title: Accounts Receivable Executive

Department: Finance
Experience: 0–2 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Bhubaneswar
Shift: USA Shift (8:30pm - 5:30 am)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Executive to manage day-to-day receivables activities, including invoice verification, payment tracking, collections, account reconciliation, and reporting. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to follow up consistently on outstanding payments while maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Invoice Verification: Verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, compliance, and proper documentation.
Payment Collection: Track outstanding payments and conduct timely follow-ups through calls, emails, and payment reminders.
Account Reconciliation: Reconcile customer accounts, payments, credits, and outstanding balances to ensure accurate records.
Receivables Monitoring: Monitor ageing reports and identify overdue accounts and collection risks.
Customer Coordination: Coordinate with customers to address billing queries, payment issues, and account discrepancies.
Dispute Resolution: Investigate billing discrepancies and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
Collections Escalation: Escalate long-pending or high-risk accounts to the appropriate internal teams or external collection agencies, where required.
Reporting: Prepare and maintain regular reports on collections, outstanding receivables, ageing, and payment status.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, customer communication, reconciliations, and collection activities.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve receivables processes, strengthen collection practices, and reduce payment turnaround time.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, Credit Control, or a similar finance role.
Good understanding of accounts receivable and basic accounting principles.
Strong communication, follow-up, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar tools.
Ability to prepare and analyse AR ageing and collection reports.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving payment and billing issues.
Willingness to work in a USA shift.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
