Role description
Position Title: Solution Architect – Microsoft .NET, Azure Cloud & Enterprise Integration Experience: 12+ Years Location: Pune, India Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in the Microsoft technology stack (.NET Core/.NET 8+, C#, Azure Cloud) to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale digital platforms and integration ecosystems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining end-to-end solution architecture, cloud architecture, integration patterns, observability strategy, DevOps practices, and architecture governance while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, product teams, engineering teams, and client leadership. The candidate should have proven experience designing and delivering large-scale, cloud-native, distributed systems, modernizing legacy platforms, and implementing enterprise-grade digital transformation solutions. Experience in the Healthcare/Life Sciences domain is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Enterprise & Solution Architecture Define and own end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise applications and digital platforms. Develop architecture roadmaps aligned with business and technology strategies. Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents. Ensure architectural alignment with enterprise standards, security policies, scalability requirements, and non-functional requirements. Lead architecture reviews, design reviews, and technology evaluations. Application Architecture Architect scalable and secure applications using: .NET Core / .NET 8+ ASP.NET Core REST APIs Microservices Architecture Event-Driven Architecture Domain-Driven Design (DDD) Define API-first strategies and integration approaches. Establish reusable design patterns, architecture principles, and coding standards. AI & Modern Engineering (Recommended) · GitHub Copilot / AI-assisted Development · AI Governance · Productivity Measurement · Engineering Automation · AI-enabled SDLC Azure Cloud Architecture Design cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure services including: Azure App Services Azure Functions Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Azure API Management Azure Service Bus Azure Event Hub Azure Key Vault Azure Storage Azure SQL Database Azure Cache for Redis Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) Azure Logic Apps Azure Data Services Design highly available, resilient, secure, and cost-optimized cloud architectures. Define disaster recovery (DR), business continuity, backup, and multi-region deployment strategies. Azure Infrastructure & Platform Engineering Lead Azure infrastructure architecture and infrastructure governance. Define Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies using: Terraform Bicep ARM Templates Drive cloud security, identity management, network architecture, and compliance initiatives. Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams for platform reliability and operational excellence. DevOps & Engineering Excellence Define and govern CI/CD strategies using Argo CD and GitHub Actions. Establish deployment, branching, release, and environment management strategies. Drive DevSecOps adoption and security automation. Implement quality gates, code review processes, and automation frameworks. Champion engineering best practices across teams. Observability & Reliability Engineering Define enterprise observability strategy covering: Monitoring Logging Distributed Tracing Performance Management ing Implement observability using: Azure Monitor Application Insights Log Analytics Grafana Prometheus OpenTelemetry Define operational metrics including: SLIs SLOs Error Budgets Support production reliability, incident management, and root cause analysis initiatives. Enterprise Integration Architecture Design integration frameworks utilizing: REST APIs Event Streaming Service Bus Architecture Messaging Patterns Third-party Integrations Data Integration Platforms Define integration standards for internal and external ecosystem connectivity. Architect secure, scalable, and maintainable integration landscapes. Stakeholder Management Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, architects, delivery teams, and client stakeholders. Translate business requirements into practical technology solutions. Present architectural solutions and recommendations to executive audiences. Provide technical leadership and mentoring across delivery teams. Proven experience designing large-scale enterprise applications and digital platforms. Proven Azure cloud architecture and infrastructure experience. Experience leading architecture transformation and modernization initiatives. Preferred Experience Healthcare, Life Sciences, Clinical Trials, Medical Devices, or HIPAA-regulated environments. Healthcare interoperability standards such as: HL7 FHIR Healthcare APIs Enterprise digitization and workflow modernization programs. Complex multi-system integration and orchestration platforms. Data platforms, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions. Soft Skills Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Strong stakeholder management capability. Success Profile The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade, cloud-native, scalable, secure, and highly integrated digital platforms while leading architecture governance, Azure cloud strategy, DevOps transformation, and observability adoption across multiple product and engineering teams. Target Profile: Principal Engineer / Solution Architect / Enterprise Architect with strong Microsoft Azure and .NET expertise, enterprise integration experience, and a proven track record in large-scale digital transformation programs.
