Job Title: Housekeeping Staff / Room Attendant

Department: Housekeeping

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Manager

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces in the hotel. The role ensures a comfortable and pleasant stay experience for guests by adhering to hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and service guest rooms (bed making, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom cleaning).
Replenish room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens.
Ensure all rooms are cared for according to hotel standards and procedures.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Handle guest requests promptly and professionally.
Maintain cleanliness in public areas like corridors, lobbies, and restrooms.
Follow proper waste disposal and sanitation practices.
Manage laundry items (collect, sort, and send for washing if required).
Keep housekeeping carts and storage areas organized.
Adhere to safety, hygiene, and hotel policies at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Basic education (10th/12th preferred).
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Attention to detail and cleanliness.
Good physical stamina and ability to work long hours.
Basic communication skills (local language; basic English preferred).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Polite and customer-friendly attitude.

Working Conditions:

Shift-based work, including weekends and holidays.
Physically demanding tasks (lifting, bending, standing for long hours).

Salary Range (India):

₹8,000 – ₹15,000 per month (varies by experience).

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
