Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Mobile App Developer responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms.
The candidate should be capable of developing applications using native technologies as well as cross-platform frameworks, depending on project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize mobile applications for Android and iOS.
- Build applications using native technologies such as:
- Android: Kotlin / Java, Android SDK
- iOS: Swift / SwiftUI / Objective-C
- Develop cross-platform applications using technologies such as:
- Flutter
- React Native
- Other suitable cross-platform frameworks.
- Convert UI/UX designs and business requirements into functional mobile applications.
- Integrate REST APIs, third-party APIs, payment gateways, maps, notifications, authentication, and cloud services.
- Work with databases and backend services when required.
- Ensure applications are responsive, secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.
- Debug and resolve application crashes, bugs, and performance issues.
- Perform testing across different devices, screen sizes, and operating-system versions.
- Publish and maintain applications on:
- Google Play Store
- Apple App Store
- Manage application versions, releases, certificates, signing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, project managers, and other team members.
- Maintain clean, reusable, well-documented, and version-controlled code.
- Follow mobile development best practices and security standards.
- Monitor and improve application performance after deployment.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Android and/or iOS mobile development.
- Practical experience with at least one native technology:
- Kotlin / Java
- Swift / SwiftUI
- Experience with at least one cross-platform framework such as Flutter or React Native.
- Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Knowledge of mobile application architecture and state management.
- Understanding of authentication, local storage, push notifications, and API integration.
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot mobile applications.
- Knowledge of Play Store and App Store deployment processes.
Preferred Skills
- Experience developing applications for both Android and iOS.
- Experience with Flutter or React Native for single-codebase development.
- Firebase / Supabase or similar backend services.
- Payment gateway integration.
- Google Maps / Mapbox integration.
- Push notifications and deep linking.
- Social login and OAuth.
- App analytics and crash reporting.
- Experience working with CI/CD for mobile applications.
- Knowledge of mobile application security.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 1–3 years of professional mobile application development experience preferred.
- Strong portfolio of published or completed Android/iOS applications will be considered an advantage.
- Freshers with strong practical projects may also be considered.
Development Approach
The developer should be able to choose the appropriate development approach based on project requirements:
Native Development
- Android → Kotlin / Java
- iOS → Swift / SwiftUI
Cross-Platform Development
The candidate should understand when a single cross-platform codebase is appropriate and when separate native Android and iOS implementations are required.
Key Performance Expectations
- Deliver applications within agreed timelines.
- Maintain high-quality and maintainable code.
- Minimize application crashes and critical bugs.
- Ensure compatibility across supported devices and OS versions.
- Follow company coding, security, Git, and documentation standards.
- Take ownership of mobile application development from development to production deployment and maintenance.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
