About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer with strong expertise in Node.js, Python, and .NET. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable, secure, and high-performance software applications.
The candidate will be responsible for working across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and selecting the appropriate technology and architecture for different business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services using Node.js, Python, and .NET.
- Develop robust RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend systems.
- Design and implement clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Develop and optimize application architecture for performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Work with databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or other relational and NoSQL databases.
- Integrate third-party APIs, services, and enterprise systems.
- Implement authentication, authorization, security controls, and data protection best practices.
- Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure software quality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application and production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to other developers.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, UI/UX developers, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based application deployments.
- Monitor application performance and continuously identify opportunities for optimization.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, development frameworks, and industry best practices.
Required Technical Skills Backend Development
- Node.js — Strong expertise in Node.js and backend frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or similar.
- Python — Strong experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- .NET / C# — Strong experience with .NET Core / modern .NET, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework.
API & Architecture
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience designing scalable and highly available backend systems.
- Strong knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
Databases
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
- Understanding of database design, indexing, query optimization, and data modeling.
Cloud & DevOps
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Working knowledge of Git and modern source-control workflows.
Software Engineering
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean architecture.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong understanding of software testing and debugging practices.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, maintainable, and production-ready code.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience working on enterprise-scale applications.
- Experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring developers.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, message queues, or event-streaming technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with automated testing and application performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of system design and high-availability architectures.
