Based in Mumbai, the Channel Marketing Specialist, India will drive field and channel marketing execution in one of Gigamon’s fastest-growing markets. Reporting to the Sr. Field Marketing Manager, APAC, this role plans and delivers integrated events and campaigns that generate demand, deepen partner engagement, and strengthen Gigamon’s presence across India. You will collaborate closely with regional sales and channel teams, global marketing, and external partners to execute high-impact programs and track their performance. This position offers the opportunity to own end-to-end program execution while helping scale Gigamon’s channel success in India, with occasional support for broader APAC initiatives.
Plan, organize, and execute field marketing activities in India, including webinars, trade shows, partner summits, and customer engagement events, ensuring cohesive pre-, during-, and post-event strategies to drive engagement.
Manage end-to-end event logistics, including timelines, agendas, resources, budgets, tradeshow services, freight, signage, demos, product displays, collateral, vendor coordination, staffing, schedules, and travel logistics.
Support the development and execution of co-marketing initiatives with India-based partners, including lead-sharing activities, partner enablement programs, and joint demand generation.
Collaborate closely with India regional sales leadership and channel teams to understand partner needs, share feedback, and act as a liaison with the global channel marketing team.
Localize and leverage global digital marketing programs for execution in India, directly or through partners, to increase lead generation, awareness, and engagement.
Work with internal stakeholders and external agencies to build, launch, and track integrated marketing campaigns targeting specific verticals and regions within India, providing performance analysis and optimization recommendations.
Provide ad hoc support to APAC Field and Channel Regional Marketing Managers on regional initiatives outside of India when needed.
Monitor, track, and report on the effectiveness of marketing programs, events, and campaigns using marketing automation and CRM tools; manage expenses, process purchase orders and invoices, and reconcile event-related budgets in line with company policies.
Partner with global and regional teams, including sales, product marketing, and corporate marketing, to ensure alignment on objectives and consistent messaging across all channels.
Assist in delivering partner training and enablement initiatives, including partner communications and collateral, to ensure channel partners are equipped to position and sell Gigamon solutions.
Earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Gained 5+ years of experience in field and/or channel marketing, preferably within the B2B technology sector.
Managed B2B industry events and partner-led demand generation programs, including both live and virtual formats, with measurable impact on pipeline and engagement.
Developed and executed channel marketing activities and co-marketing programs, demonstrating a strong understanding of partner ecosystems and channel dynamics in India.
Worked proficiently with marketing automation platforms (such as Marketo, Folloze) and CRM systems (such as Salesforce), and are capable of learning tools like Workfront, Monday.com, 6sense, and similar platforms.
Analyzed marketing performance data to report results, derive insights, and recommend improvements across campaigns and events.
Applied knowledge of network security, cybersecurity, or the India channel landscape, or have adjacent experience that enables you to quickly ramp in these areas.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills and the ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously from planning through execution and post-program reporting.
A clear and effective communicator who collaborates well with cross-functional teams, partners, and vendors in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Comfortable working independently, taking ownership of outcomes, and making sound decisions while staying aligned with regional and global marketing strategies.
Resourceful and budget-conscious, consistently delivering programs on time and within budget constraints.
Willing and able to travel within India as required to support events, partner activities, and field marketing initiatives.
