Full job description

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Officer to drive sales and expand our market presence in the Trichy region. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction and building materials sector, a knack for building lasting B2B and B2C relationships, and a proven track record of meeting sales targets.

You will be the face of Deltakraft RMC on the ground, engaging with builders, contractors, architects, and individual home builders.

Key Responsibilities

Market Penetration: Identify and develop new business opportunities across Trichy by actively tracking upcoming residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.

Client Acquisition: Conduct regular site visits, meet with site engineers, project managers, contractors, and individual home builders to promote Deltakraft RMC products.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Sales Targets: Achieve and consistently exceed monthly and quarterly sales/volume targets.

Market Intelligence: Gather market data on competitor pricing, new product launches, and industry trends to help management refine market strategies.

Coordination: Work closely with the plant operations and logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch, delivery, and quality compliance for all client orders.

Payment Collection: Ensure timely collection of payments and outstanding dues from clients as per company credit policies.

Reporting: Prepare daily and weekly sales reports, update the client database, and present progress to the regional sales manager.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field. (An MBA is an added advantage). Experience: 1 to 4 years of sales or marketing experience, preferably in the Ready Mix Concrete (RMC), cement, or building materials industry.

Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Trichy market and geography. Language Skills: Fluency in Tamil and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

Mobility: Must possess a valid driving license and own a two-wheeler for daily market visits.

Core Competencies: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a highly goal-oriented mindset.
