Full job description

We are looking for a polite, responsible, and customer-friendly Receptionist to manage the front desk and handle day-to-day customer interactions. The person will be responsible for receiving customers, managing calls and enquiries, handling orders/records, and coordinating with the operations team.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist customers in a polite and professional manner.
Receive clothes/items from customers and prepare order entries/bills accurately.
Explain services, pricing, offers, and delivery timelines to customers.
Handle incoming phone calls and WhatsApp enquiries.
Maintain customer details, order records, payment status, and delivery information.
Coordinate with the washing, drying, ironing, finishing, and packing teams regarding orders.
Inform customers when their order is ready for pickup/delivery.
Handle cash/UPI/card payments and maintain daily collection records.
Resolve basic customer complaints and escalate issues when required.
Maintain cleanliness and proper presentation of the reception/front desk.
Follow company procedures for tagging, order tracking, quality checking, and handover.
Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
Perform other front-office duties assigned by the management.

Required Skills

Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Basic knowledge of computer, Excel, WhatsApp and billing software.
Good Hindi communication; basic English preferred.
Ability to maintain accurate records.
Polite, patient, punctual, and well-groomed.
Ability to work efficiently during busy hours.
Previous experience in laundry, retail, hotel, salon, front office, or customer service will be an advantage.
