Job Description – Account Manager

Position: Account Manager
Department: Finance & Accounts
Location: New Delhi
Experience: 4–8 Years
Industry: Manufacturing / Electrical / HVAC / Appliances

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations, ensure accurate financial records, and handle statutory compliances. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in PF, ESIC, TDS, GST, payroll, reconciliations, and monthly closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Prepare and maintain ledger accounts, journal entries, and vouchers.
Perform Bank Reconciliation and vendor/customer reconciliation.
Manage GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax and other statutory compliances.
Handle monthly PF and ESIC calculations, challans, returns, and employee-related compliance.
Coordinate with HR for payroll processing, salary calculations, deductions, PF and ESIC.
Prepare and verify GST returns, TDS returns, and statutory payment records.
Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up for timely payments/collections.
Assist in monthly closing, MIS reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Prepare reports required by management and support decision-making with accurate financial data.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, and government authorities when required.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Support internal and statutory audits and provide required schedules/documents.
Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Accounting and Finance.
Hands-on experience in PF & ESIC compliance is mandatory.
Good knowledge of GST and TDS.
Experience in Payroll and statutory deductions.
Strong knowledge of Bank Reconciliation, Ledger Reconciliation, AP & AR.
Good command of MS Excel and accounting software/ERP.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Experience

Candidates from Manufacturing, Electrical, HVAC, Appliances, Engineering, or related industries will be preferred.
