Position: Digital Marketing Executive

Organisation: HITMI – Hindustan Information Technology & Management Institute
Location: Borivali West, Mumbai
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Experience: Preferably 1–3 years of relevant hands-on experience
Salary: ₹15,000–₹25,000 per month, depending on skills and experience

Role Overview

HITMI is looking for an energetic, responsible and self-driven Digital Marketing Executive who can manage and support the institute’s day-to-day Digital Marketing activities.

We are particularly interested in a versatile candidate who, apart from Digital Marketing execution, can also contribute to training, student admissions, counselling and routine office coordination whenever required.

The position is suitable for someone who enjoys working in a growing educational organisation and is willing to take ownership of multiple responsibilities.

Key Digital Marketing Responsibilities

Manage HITMI’s social media presence across relevant platforms.
Plan, create and publish posts, reels, carousels, stories and promotional content.
Manage Instagram and Facebook through Meta Business Suite.
Create graphics, promotional creatives and social-media content.
Create and edit reels, Shorts and other short-form video content.
Manage YouTube uploads, Shorts and content optimisation.
Use ChatGPT and other AI tools for content ideation, scripts, captions, research and marketing execution.
Assist in preparing and maintaining social-media and content calendars.
Conduct competitor, keyword and market research.
Handle Google Business Profile updates and optimisation.
Support SEO, website content optimisation and WordPress updates.
Assist with Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns.
Support lead-generation activities and maintain marketing-related data.
Track Digital Marketing performance and prepare regular reports.
Coordinate with external agencies, consultants, trainers and other service providers whenever required.
Stay updated with new Digital Marketing trends, AI tools and marketing technologies.

Training Ability – Added Advantage

Candidates having the ability and confidence to teach or assist in teaching Digital Marketing topics to students will be given preference.

The candidate may be expected to:

Conduct Digital Marketing sessions.
Prepare PPT for Student training.
Guide students in assignments, projects and tool-based exercises.
Support students during lab/practical sessions.
Help students understand Digital Marketing tools and AI-enabled marketing applications.

Prior classroom-training experience will be an added advantage but is not mandatory if the candidate has strong subject knowledge and communication ability.

Admission & Student Coordination

The candidate should also be willing to support admission-related activities whenever required, including:

Calling prospective students and responding to enquiries.
Admission follow-up through phone and WhatsApp.
Explaining HITMI courses to prospective students.
Assisting in student counselling.
Following up with walk-in and online enquiries.
Maintaining enquiry and admission records.
Coordinating with students before and after admission.

Outreach & Business Development Support

Depending on requirements, the candidate may also assist with:

Visiting schools, colleges and educational institutions for course promotion and tie-up opportunities.
Participating in seminars, webinars, workshops and promotional activities.
Supporting local outreach and student-acquisition activities.
Coordinating with educational institutions and other organisations.

Office & Administrative Support

As HITMI is currently a growing organisation, the candidate should be comfortable assisting with routine office activities when required, including:

Calling and follow-ups.
Typing and documentation.
Maintaining records and databases.
Preparing presentations and promotional material.
Student coordination.
General office and administrative support.

Required Skills

Strong working knowledge of Digital Marketing.
Social Media Marketing.
Instagram and Facebook marketing.
Meta Business Suite.
Content creation and content planning.
Canva.
Reel and short-form video creation/editing.
YouTube marketing.
SEO and keyword research.
Google Business Profile.
WordPress/content management.
Meta Ads and/or Google Ads.
Digital Marketing analytics and reporting.
ChatGPT and other AI tools used in Digital Marketing.
Good computer and internet skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Shortlisted candidates may be evaluated through a practical assignment covering areas such as:

Social-media content creation.
Canva creative.
Reel/video concept.
Digital Marketing strategy understanding.
Use of AI tools.
Meta Ads/SEO understanding.
Communication and counselling ability.

Candidates claiming training experience may also be asked to deliver a short Digital Marketing demo session.

Borivali West, Mumbai

Candidates residing within convenient travelling distance from Borivali will be preferred.
